I'm pretty sure you could say that about every book.
I was watching an PBS documentary on Isaac Newton. He studied the babble and claims that it says the world is coming to an end in 2060.
While I don't believe any of that bullshit, I'll trust his math over yours.
Standard "guess an arbitrary date, say it with conviction, and terrify people into agreeing with you" tactics. It's a centuries old technique that has yet to falter for all the endless times it has been shown to be inaccurate before. Oh well...guess you can't rationalize with the terrified.
Now we can add rd1064's 5/21/2011 prophecy to the list.

Shortwave preacher Harold Camping had said that, too. He uses that date to hawk his book, "Time Has an End," which you apparently fell for, hook, line, and sinker. My dad and I had a good laugh about this as it's the day before his birthday. So, when my dad turns 70, another "prophecy" bites the dust.

Books don´t speak, so I believe you that no book can say that. If the bible could speak it could also not say that for itself, as there are, for example, some prophecies that didn´t get fulfilledn in the past and won´t get fulfilled in the future because the tribes that were subject to these prophecies don´t exist anymore.

But if the bible is true, then presumably so is Matthew 24:35-36, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

So, we've got July 4th as the end. June 12th was the end, according to someone else. That came and went. Others say 2012. Add to the list May 21, 2011.
Hell, people, can't you even agree on when the end is coming? All these dates are fucking confusing; I can't keep track of them and I fear I am going to miss it all!
