[to Evans: The concept of "God" as a defining aspect of America is in direct contradiction to the US Constitution.]

Thaanks, but the Fliickr of the Creeaatiioon Muuseeuum waas scaaryy eenoouugh.
Creation museum? If that's not an oxymoron, I don't know what is.
If any state is promoting any religion or mandating it's teaching, acceptance, or importance, it's unconstitutional. No matter where it is. And last I have heard, there is a lot of opposition in Kansas to the teaching of the false 'science' of creationism. Eventually, those lies will be gone.
Oh, and "Treaty of Tripoli", "First amendment religious clauses", and "We have fossils, we win", bitch.
There is no mention of the Christian God or Christian doctrine in the U. S. Constitution. No Jesus, no sin, no salvation, no heaven, no hell. We were founded on secular humanist principles derived from the French Enlightenment. Interestingly enough, the Declaration of Independence -- not a founding document, to be sure -- says rights of the government are based not on God but rather on the consent of the governed. Learn something about your own country, doofus.
As to Kansas, would that be the very same Kansas known throughout the civilized world as a citadel of learning and academic excellence?
Creationism. Tee-hee.
Because the Creation Museum has everything to do with the Constitution...
(Insert standard "how the fuck does a Scot know more about the country you're so proud of than you do?" rant ((even if it doesn't hold much water since I know fuck all about Scotland XD )) )
They taught creationism in Kansas because some fundie discovered that a basically honorary political spoils appointments board actually had some power over school courses, to the embarrassment of a lot of educators. Most of those people have been removed and sanity(and education) restored(by a coalition of democrats and moderate republicans). The creationist museum has changed a lot of people's views! They now believe that that creationism supporters are even more gullible and ignorant than ever. What a scam and these rubes are paying to have their intelligence(if they are over eight) insulted.
It won't 'change' my views. it'll only strenghten them.
You backwoods inbreed mentally defective dickwad.
Gee I hope I wasn't rude with my 'View'
P.S.
They're teaching that shit AGAINST the constitution
"did you hear they teach creationism in kansas right?"
"They" teach creationism in Saudi Arabia as well. What's your point?
"there are some states where we've managed to get truth acepted"
What "truth?" Why don't you move to one of those states instead of trying to force your beliefs upon everyone else?
"if its uncostitutonal then why are they teaching it?"
Because "they" don't care about the rule of law and think themselves to be above the law. In other words, "they" are despotic and tyrannical.
"you are just spouting typical atheist-satanist propoganda and there is zero evidence to support your claim"
By your use of the word "Satanist," I surmise that you followed the advice I gave you yesterday (in which I told you that the word "Satanic" carried more emotional weight and was more likely to impress your sheeplike followers than the word "occult," which you had used in a previous post). Glad to see you listened to me! Much better!

I cannot say anything about he creation museum, but I can definitely say that christian fundamentalists changed my views.
We have no too many christian fundamentalists in germany but mostly christian liberals, who just care about the new testament and assume that god is a loving god and that the bible doesn´t have to be taken literal.
So I never had too much reason to look too deeply or critical into the bible and especially the old testament.
I only began with looking deeper and more critical into the old testament (and the image of god therein) when, some years ago, I heard more and more reports about the rise of evangelical fndamentalism in the USA.
Well, before this I had no real opinion about YHWH, the god of the old testament. But thanks to the evangelical fundamentalists (and my resulting research of the old testament) I have come to the conclusion that the god of the old testament (if the stories about him were iteral true) would be a divine entity against which I would have to resist, for moral reasons, as this divine entity has nothign in common with an all loving god, but rather with a jealous, selfish and more or less evil entity.
"if its uncostitutonal then why are they teaching it?"
If rape is illegal, why do people still do it?
"there is zero evidence to support your claim"
The separation of church and state is pretty good evidence.
"have you been in Creation Museum? you'd better viisit it and maybe youll change your views"
I've heard of it. It would probably only reinforce my current views.
if its uncostitutonal then why are they teaching it?
The US government disobeys its own constitution all the time. Ever heard of the Patriot Act?

Hail Satan! God of the atheists!

Oh, I would LOVE to go into a creation museum. The comedy would be priceless... although I'm certain I would be kicked out after ten or so minutes of me bitching about all of the exhibits.

If I wanted to flush my money down the toilet there are far easer ways of doing it, and I don't have to leave home.
Only a brainwashed retard would find the Creationist Museum to be convincing.
"there are some states where we've managed to get truth acepted"
Actually, if you hadn't noticed, ~most~ states teach evolution, not just "some."
"atheist-satanist"
Hilarious. I thought it was pretty clear that those were two mutually exclusive states, as Lucifer is a deity, while Atheism is the ~lack~ of deism.
"If its uncostitutonal then why are they teaching it?"
Because they hate America. Next.
"have you been in Creation Museum? you'd better viisit it and maybe youll change your views"
I watched hundreds of hours of Flintstone cartoons whi I was a child. My views havn't changed yet.
you are just spouting typical atheist-satanist propoganda and there is zero evidence to support your claim
I'm sure several people have already said this but it definitely bears repeating: Treaty of Tripoli, Article XI.
have you been in Creation Museum? you'd better viisit it and maybe youll change your views
The only opinion of mine it would change is my ideas of who should be allowed to dub their animatronic playgrounds "museums".
I do believe a visit to the Creation Museum could change a person's views. I'll bet any rational person would walk out of there and be forced to admit that, yes, fundies are even more fucking stupid than we thought ...
People commit murder, by your 'logic' it follows that murder can't be illegal.
The fail is strong with this one.
Kansasistan - home of True Christians (TM) and marching proudly back into the 14C.
I'm sorry, this kind of thing makes the US the laughing stock of the western world
did you hear they teach creationism in kansas right?
- Anything is possible in Kansas. Ask Dorothy.
there are some states where we've managed to get truth acepted if its uncostitutonal then why are they teaching it?
- Because they are engaging in UnAmerican activities?
have you been in Creation Museum? you'd better viisit it and maybe youll change your views
- Lies masquerading as fairytales.
READ the damn thing first! no, not origin of the species, the CONSTITUTION!
it's in the first amendment. ya know, the one you're always screaming about at the top of your lungs as you're kicked off the parade route?
Freedom of religion. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.
and if you're going to teach creationism, you have to teach evolution too, AND the native-american myth of giant lizards, AND that the earth was born of the armpit of a norse god, AND the flying spaghetti monster (bless his noodley appendage).
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
