Your only default position with atheism is to believe that nothing created everything, or to redefine "nothing" as "something" (which is what Dawkins does). Such a belief-system is scientific lunacy at its best. Atheism is as far from "logic and reason" as the East is from the West. No one needs to pray for wisdom to see this. A child can figure it out by looking around him at the order and beauty of Nature. Our precedent for atheism is not only based on Psalm 14:1 but upon common sense.

Although it may be hard for you to see, my words are motivated only by love, and from a deep concern for where you spend eternity. The greatest favor anyone can ever do for an atheist is to pop his little bubble of delusion and bring him or her back to reality.

Reduced to mental gymnastics, when your previous 'perfect' & argumentally indestructible example of Cre(a)ti(o)nism - the Banana - was cruelly wrenched away from you when it was revealed that the Banana we know today was as a result of domestication by humans, eh? As if sockpuppeting for 'questions' wasn't bad enough.

Must sting, that. More so the banana-based ridicule. Long may it continue too. You fucking well ask for it.

Look at stars. Massive concentrations of extreme mass and temperature, colossal fusion reactors in the infinite void. Steadily bubbling away for billions of years. Everything explainable. Viewing the spectra through a prism lets you know exactly what it's made of. The same stuff as on Earth. Thousands, millions, billions of light-years away.

Extrasolar planets. All orbiting around their own stars. The same as Earth.

Hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen - these elements are major constituents of life and stars. On Earth as in the heavens. We're all the same, really. We're a part of a universe - this massive, tumbling, beautiful mess of a universe.

And the more we understand...

The more we find out that everything is the same. We're all really just one thing.

There's no chosen people. No division between us and anything else. We're all the same thing. And that's beautiful.

In an edition of "Kitchen Nightmares USA" I watched last night, it dealt with the Irish-American owner of an Italian restaurant, with no knowledge of the country, culture or cuisine, who'd hired a 22-year old deadbeat 'head chef' with absolutely NO culinary training, but hadn't the balls to fire him.

95% of the ingredients used are frozen, but fraudulently advertised as 'Fresh' in the menu (which is illegal in the UK); food is heated mostly in microwaves (and is STILL cold when served), the kitchen & freezer are unhygienic (in UK, Health Standards officials have the legal power to immediately close down businesses that don't come up to legally enforceable standards), and said owner is so deluded that her 'food' is fine, even when the staff disagree (One of the servers knows more about the business than SHE does).

All it took was Gordon Ramsay to point out these failings - and more besides - to utterly destroy her precious little 'bubble'. She wigs out as her little inferior 'reality' falls apart, because even she knows that she's dealing with a Brit who is not only the Head Chef, but owner, of world-renowned restaurrants, some multiple-Michelin Star-rated. He knows EVERYTHING about everything, she knows less than NOTHING, and she finally realises this; Culinary-wise, he is superior, she is inferior, and she doesn't like that.

He's a hero of mine, in this way: how he can utterly ANNIHILATE* people, destroying their delusions that they cling on to with a death grip. We need an Atheist version of Gordon - the ultimate 'Deprogrammer' - who can break through the cultic self-hypnotic 'faith'/'apologetics' shields of fundies, verbally & logically eviscerate their inferior 'doctrines', inflict psychological pain infinitely worse than what the Cenobites (in the "Hellraiser" films) do to their victims physically, to utterly break them, then crush their 'beliefs' under his/her heel, rendering such as nonexistent as their so-called 'God', emerging superior & triumphant. But then, we Atheists always have been. And always will be. For ever & ever RAmen.

...or said fundies could simply do a Jonathan Edwards. Recanting of his previous long-time beliefs & becoming an Atheist - and all by himself, no less - hasn't killed him. Only said beliefs. Yet, he's STILL going to Heaven, regardless via those four magic letters: OSAS. Ain't that a pisser, eh Shit4Life...?! Remember: all we Atheists - and teh nasty ebil LGBT people here in FSTDT - have to do is 'Convert', then do a Jonathan Edwards, and there's your 'Revenge Fantasies' completely fucked. >:D
