A true Christian has a his own Declaration of Independence and his own Constitution.
The Bible is, by definition, not a declaration of independence of any kind.
A true Christian votes every single day, every single hour.
Everybody "votes" every single day and hour in the allegiances they decide to hold, be they religious, national, ethnic, class, sexual, regional or linguistic, in that we choose to identify with them and choose to obey laws and custom. But that is not the same as voting in worldly elections.
He also understands that our professing Christians neighbors are not neighbors, friends, or countryman.
A nice way of getting out of Jesus's command to love your neighbor as yourself. May I remind you that Christ's response to the question "who is my neighbor?" is the parable of the Good Samaritan, where someone with religious views that his audience would have found offensive cares for a stranger in trouble. Your definition of neighbor has nothing to do with that of Jesus.
Our Citizenship is not of the earth and its princes.
If your allegiance is to the Kingdom of God and your citizenship is of the Kingdom of God, then you have no place voting in elections for the citizens of worldly countries over worldly matters. Some denominations, like the Brethren, are consistent on that score and refrain from voting. Do you abstain, or are you out there pushing theocratic politicians on the rest of us?

It does; groups like the Brethren and Jehovah's Witnesses are exempted from service because they believe that wars are matters of the world from while their allegiance is to God alone. In World War II many such people did ancillary war work such as ambulance driving and fire fighting.
