[Discussing a video of Eric Hovind answering questions from a sixth grader:]
For the record, Elijah dealt quiet well with some children that decided to start some stuff with a Servant of the Most High. Didn't have to lift a finger.....
I agree with both Vox and another commenter. First I would demand that the adult feeding that child questions stand up and take his place, if the coward refuses I would give that child a verbal beating like never before. Of course, not if Elizabeth Hasselbeck was around.

Hey Cockass, that's a sixth grader and E. Hovind (not to be confused with E. Coli, mostly,) you're talking about. You're making an unreasonable assumption. A well read 6th grader is probably a decent match for Son of Kent, or you, for that matter, any day. Bitch. You're also absolutely stating that an adult is or was coaching the kid to ask questions that deliberately upset Hovind's narrative. Were you there?
What? You want to sic a bear on that kid?
Also; Kids should ask questions.
Finally; Elijah was likely being threatened anti-Semitic tough-guy youths, not teased by little kiddos.
Picture a guy getting threatened by a horde of thuggish teenage NeoNazi-types. That's a possible interpretation of the tale. If that was the case then it was self-defense.
A kid questioning an adult is not Danny Vinyard threatening to curb-stomp Tevye....

"Me curb-stomp you! *hurr hurr*"
"Uh...."

"....Curb stomp?!"
I wouldn't compare some hack like Hovind with a Biblical Prophet.
Finally; It was Elijah's SUCCESSOR, Elisha and it involved two angry bears. You couldn't even get your Bible story, right!
For the record, you give yourself away pretty fast there.
For questioning Hovind the kid should die a death of "tore up" to quote your storybook.
You invoked a prophet of God when referring to f'n dim bulb parrot Eric dumbfuck Hovind being asked to explain something.
Oh no, you people don't worship men, no way,,,
Suffer the little children...don't have any, PLEASE!!
Let me also say that making the Hovinds look stupid is obviously child's play.

"Finally; Elijah was likely being threatened anti-Semitic tough-guy youths, not teased by little kiddos."
I have seen this argument many times, but I have never seen anyone give a good explanation for why "little boys/youths" would mean anything other than children, especially when the same phrase in Hebrew is used to describe children elsewhere. There just doesn't seem to be any real justification for this "possible interpretation of the tale" other than making it more palatable to modern audiences.
You're just scared that kids these days are just too educated for the good of fundie Christainity. Learning facts = thinking .
A little doubt can destroy a whole lot of bullshit.
Kitzmiller vs. Dover made sure of that. The Conservative Christian Judge John E. Jones III ensured they always will .
@SpukiKitty
As David mentions, the idea that the kids were some kind of older street toughs isn't really supplied in the text as far as I know. I'm surprised you offer up the same excuse that many apologists make to lessen the horror of children being torn to pieces. The moral of the tale seems pretty simple to me: God's prophets shall not be mocked, and there will be serious consequences if they are, even by children.
@David & Daryl
Well; If the original texts really state it was just children teasing a guy for having a bald head....then you are right in saying that story is evil and I'll take back everything I've said.
Anyhoo; Hovind is a dickweed!
Confused?
