True. But there are differing "agendas"
I support equal rights for gay people because I have gay friends. My friends are law abiding, they should not have to live as second class citizens. My friends don't hurt other people, they should not have to live as potential targets of violence. My friends are competent, they should not be denied jobs simply because of their sexual orientation. My friends feel love, they should not be denied the right to have legal marriages.
The people who laugh at me for saying this are not my friends.
