Killing babies satisfies some of the people's bloodlust, therefore less muders. It also satisfies their need to defy "god"... therefore less crime.

Well, as a man who is not an abortion provider, I guess I'll have to satisfy my bloodlust by beating some crazy moron. Did some work on the Sabbath already so my responsibility to defy "God" has been fulfilled. Hmmm, still some crimes I'd like to commit.

Why would I need to perform an abortion on some woman to satisfy my "bloodlust?" I'm a man, remember. I have to kill millions of poor innocent gametes to create a single embryo to abort. This also satisfies my "disobey God" urge, since he gets quite irate whenever I do this.

Many crimes are not against the Bible. Rape, child molestation, child abuse, spouse abuse etc, are not against the Bible. Wearing clothes of mixed fabrics is. Abortion is not against the Bible.
The link between abortion and lower crime rates is more like; when fewer children are born to parents who won't be able to take care of them, fewer children end up frustrated and forsaken, both very common feelings in people who commit crimes.
