"a general prohibition of abortion"
Currently unconstitutional to do this. And if you take a look at history, you will notice that when abortion was illegal, it was still almost as common as it is today, and you will also notice that it's not as common today as you would like us to think it is.
"the allowance of prayer in public schools"
You can pray in public schools; the school just can't sponsor it and faculty members may not facilitate it. There are many schools across the country where prayer clubs and groups exist, and as long as there are tests in school, there will always be prayer.
"the rejection of embryonic (not adult) stem-cell research"
This one I've never understood. You do realize that the stem cells researchers want to work with are ones from fertility clinics that are going to be put into an incinerator, right? You do know that, yes?
Not one single fertilized ova will be destroyed that was not already scheduled for destruction. And if you have some weird idea of bringing all those potential embryos to term...you do realize that that would boost the population growth rate of the United States by a facotr of nearly 10,000 times the current rate? We would be starving in one generation.
"the Federal prohibition of homosexual marriage (either by law or by an admendment to the Constitution)"
Because legislatively forcing your religious standard of personal, consentual-activity morality on your fellow citizens is the American Way, right? What's next? Compulsory communion on Sundays?
"further restrictions on pornography"
Interesting. Very, very interesting...you don't want to actually ban porn, you just seem to want better controls on it. What, are you afraid they will close down greenguy.com? Gotta get yer one-handed freak on but yer worried about the kiddies? How...Christian of you.
"tightening of obscenity laws in movies and television"
Because seeing a bare breast during the Super Bowl halftime show will make you turn into a cannibal necrophiliac rapist serial killer.
Interesting True Fact! In the USA, showing a man sucking on a woman's bare breast will get you an NC-17 rating, but show the same man cutting off the same bare breast with a machete and it's only an R. America! What a country!
"vigorous law enforcement against pedophiles both on the Internet and in the society at large"
You think we can afford to pay Chris Hanson all that freakin' overtime?
"the replacement of sex education programs for students with abstinence-based programs"
Because unless we teach kids about sex in school they will never figure it out on their own, right? Because until they know about vaginas, guys naturally assume their dicks are just for better urine stream control, right?
Come on, we had no "sex ed" when I was in school and I shagged my first at 15, abstinece-only education is like sending soldiers into battle with a "duck-only" defense strategy instead of body armor.
Oh. Wait. Bush did that. Nevermind.
"putting an end to the tyranny of Darwinian evolution teaching in public schools such that the flaws in evolutionary theory and creation science would at least get equal consideration"
You know what's really interesting about this statement? Not the statement itself, that's just the standard DARWIN=SATANIC PLOT TO DESTROY HUMANITY. The really interesting part is how he accidentally admits that "creation science" (now there's an oxymoron for ya) has "flaws."
"stopping the Federal court system's twisting of the First Amendment to find some supposed "separation of Church and State" that in turn is used to remove all public expression of the Christian faith from American society"
But it's not used for any such thing. For example: a Christmas tree is a Christian symbol, and every year we put a huge one up on the National Mall in DC. There is a bas relief of Moses on the facade of the Supreme Court Building. Congress is opened with a prayer, most often a Christian one, at the begining of each session. Public officals are sworn in on the Bible.
There are many "public expression of the Christian faith" allowed, accepted, encouraged, and supported in American society. It's like you sooooooo desperately want to be persecuted that you fantasize about it and just make it up when it doesn't really happen.
