[This is a response to firefighter Captain Andi Mooneyham's application for partner benefits for her legally married wife.]
Dear Captain Mooneyham:
I agree with the decision of the board to refuse to grant and extend benefits to lesbians and homosexuals.
Missouri has a constitutional provision and a state statute providing that marriage is between one man and one woman which has been the law since time and memorial in our world's history.
I'm tired of promo attempting to cram homosexuality and lesbians down our throats.
You have followed the law and I congratulate you.
Now-back to fighting fires.
Sincerely yours,
Dee Wampler

TL;DR:
"Mooneyham you're a horrible person and the person you love isn't worthy of our consideration, as you are both women.
Now stop oppressing us by demanding equal rights as if you were an actual person and go back to risking your life to keep us safe.
Sincerely, Dee WIMPler."
I say let them burn.
You can't really expect much from someone stupid enough to fuck up "time im memorial". Especially in the retar- er, Bible belt. All you can do is hope that she grows fed up with their shit and quits and that the miserable little fuck promptly dies in fire in her former district, appreciating in his final moments the grand irony of his situation.
I'm not sure; English is just my second language, but isn't the phrase "time immemorial"?
What's crammed down our throats is heterosexuality, silly! Everyone is supposed to be straight until further notice. PROMO is trying to cram human rights down your throats; if you don't like it, you can't have any rights either. I'd say that quite a few, slightly icky, straight guys would like to cram something down lesbians' throats, something that isn't really on the lesbian menu, so to speak...
If you get partner benefits for a legally married husband, you ought to get it for a legally married wife too, or it's gender discrimination.
Why should she risk her life for you, when you refuse her equal human rights?
The Attorney's letter could have limited to simply writing she didn't qualify, relative to the Missouri Constitution*, for these benefits, but instead she continued with speaking about "gay agenda."
* Do the Full Faith and Credit Chause apply?
I'm not sure "tired" is how I'd feel if someone tried to cram lesbians down my throat.
Dear Dee Wampler,
The Missouri English Official Language Amendment was passed by the people of Missouri in 2008 as an amendment of the constitution of the state of Missouri. Regrettably, you have expressed yourself using phrases such as "time and memorial" which are not part of the English language. You have therefore chosen to flout the provisions of the basic law of Missouri.
I'm tired of hypocrites that accuse others of attacking the foundation of law and society in Missouri while doing the same themselves.
Now back to well-deserved obscurity.
Yours sincerely,
Hasan Prishtina
Dear Dee Wampler,
As human beings and citizens of the United States, the LGBT community has every right to benefits that straight couples can and do enjoy. PROMO is not asking for special rights, nor are Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual or Transgendered people. They are simply asking for the same benefits as everyone else. Denying them those rights based upon your own (no doubt religiously motivated) biases is both wrong and morally reprehensible.
Please reconsider your position to regard those who are not like yourself as subhuman. If the situation were reversed and heterosexuality was condemned by the majority religion, you'd want the same rights for yourself and your opposite sex partner, and you'd be entitled to fight for them. Did your Jesus not tell you to love others as yourself, or does that mandate cease to apply once you've decided that someone isn't worthy of receiving the same rights you take for granted?
Thank you,
KittyKaboom
P.S. - it's 'time immemorial '. Please take a class on basic english.
I live in Missouri (misery). The closest thing to "cramming homosexuality and lesbians down people's throats" PROMO has done, is Lobby Day, where we all go down to Jeff City and talk to politicians about supporting pro-LGBT legislation and anti-bulling laws.
If that's "cramming", then kindly tell the Mission: St, Louis idiots to stop knocking on my door every summer, as I don't like Christianity crammed down my throat.

If you can't remember anything prior to 2004, then sure, it's been the law since "time and memorial." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missouri_Constitutional_Amendment_2_%282004%29

Says the person who supports the constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. I guess it's wrong to "force homosexuality down our throats" (snicker) but it's perfectly OK to force heterosexuality upon everyone.

MISSOURI IS NOT AS OLD AS TIME (and it's 'time immemorial', you inbred, anti-intellectual doofus)! Nice try! Give the brave firefighter what she asks for you un-American ignoramus!
What pisses me off about this isn't the fairly generic homophobia, it's the notion that this asshelmet thinks they can trash-talk Mrs. Mooneyham and then say "now - back to fighting fires".
What a fucking ingrate.
Dee Wampler, do Missouri a favor: slither back under whatever rock you came from and please die there.
Confused?
