The Sun & Moon rotate around the top, looking down, in a clockwise direction. As the peak summer draws near, the circle gets tighter as it raises higher and slows in rotational speed.

Then, at the summer solstice you can see the sun above the horizon for over 72 hours if you are at the 89th parallel or higher (the north pole is the center).

After the "Midnight Sun," the longest (sunlight) day, the Sun starts its course again with the rotational speed and circumference increasing.

The size of the rotational circle increases, as does the speed to keep the time, or 24 hour day in sync.

How's that for a brief synopsis? If you want to see a video that portrays this, you'll find plenty on YouTube, or just go to Eric Dubay's channel and watch of few of his videos.

Now let the hate flow from those suffering "cognitive dissonance," as opposed to rational critical thinking, aka conspiracy theorist.

Unfortunately, I was educated stupid and my close-minded cranium cannot comprehend what you are trying to say, let alone how it explains the periodic changes across the climates, why the Northern seasons are phase-shifted by half a year compared to the South, and why the progression of climate zones is the same on both sides of the equator.

You mean orbit? Or revolve? Rotate means spinning on their own axis, not movement relative to another planet.

What circle? The sun’s orbit? The moon’s?

What slows in rotational speed? The sun?
The length of daylight hours changes because of how the sunlight strikes the Earth, the angle. The speed of Earth’s rotation doesn’t change. We measure the speed of rotation at 1000 miles per hour at the equator, regardless of the time of year.

If the earth is flat, what the fuck do you mean by ‘higher.’ in this usage?
Is the Earth a dome?

That would mean that by being at the 89th parallel, you’re farther from the Sun, about as far as you can get. Why can someone at the north pole see the sun for longer than someone at the equator?

Except no, it doesn’t. Astronomers will tell you the speed of the sun crossing the sky does not change. Neither does the Moon, and we bounce lasers off of it to measure it’s location and distance.
