[In a thread about the New Creation (Rev.21:1)]
For one thing, movement from Point A to Point B will be instantaneous.
Since acceleration is distance divided by time [a = d / t], and time shall be no more, then acceleration will be instantaneous [a = d].

I'm no farm worker, but I know industrial grade bullshit when I see it.
I thought this one was a very determined poe, but a statement this crazy seems only possible for a full fundie. Anyone have any idea whether AV1 is actually seriously insane, or just pretending?
He doesn't even understand basic, middle school physics, let alone complex concepts like Time and Causality. Besides the obvious mix up between acceleration and velocity, if Time stops, t=0, you don't just take it out of the equation. If you just take it out, it makes no fucking sense anymore. Without Time, there is no movement by definition. Nothing would ever change and we wouldn't even be conscious of that never changing universe because we wouldn't have any time to comprehend it with.
Him screwing up a basic formula was funny enough as it was, but the literal attempt at dividing by zero is just too much. Bloody hilarious. I can't stop laughing...
The other part of his post is pretty funny, too:

0% =/= certainty. In fact, it means the exact opposite. Total failure at all things mathematical. And this coming from me, an individual who has always been horrible at math.
@Ponder
Oh, he is full fledged, bat-shit crazy. If I remember correctly, this guy also goes by a different name sometimes but it totally just left my brain.
1) d/t is velocity, not acceleration. Acceleration is dv/dt, or (v2-v2)/(t2-t1).
2) d/0 is not d, it is infinity.
3) AV1611 is no Poe. Scary, isn't it.
Ok, I have a degree in math, physics and astrophysics and this is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen.
I know this crazy moron is not a poe and that is even worse. Homeschooled?

Considering that he has more posts and posts per day than anyone I have ever seen on a forum, he would have to be the greatest poe ever to stay in character through all of it. Also, many of his quotes are just so good that they can't be fakes. There are only two possible options:
1)He is the most intelligent and determined troll who ever lived.
2)He is just some idiot.
Occam's razor states that we should go with option two.
Instant acceleration to any speed? And presumably deceleration at the same rate?
Funny, why does the word "Splat!" spring to mind?
AV is a real winner, he always pretends that he knows what he's talking about.
The man knows nothing except what he reads in the Bible.
Brilliantly, he goes on to demonstrate how fundy logic works by linking to a very good critique of popular misconceptions of the scientific method, assuming it backs him up because it contains the words science and myth.
And failing to notice the section that contains the phrase:
"the term creation science is an oxymoron"
Distance divided by time is VELOCITY.
ACCELERATION is distance divided by time SQUARED.
Dividing by zero is undefined.
Triple fail in one sentence: priceless
As stated before the equation is actually velocity.
Of course infinite velocity would cause infinite kinetic energy (Velocity^2 x (Mass x .5)) so it you touch anything, including air while you're moving like this you explode.
So really what you're saying, according to your flawed mathmatics, since time doesn't exist, everything will cease to advance and stay frozen in time
a=(d/t)/t not d/t.
If there is no time, then t=0, therefore you propose a double devision by 0 , which is nonsense^2.
Now go fuck your christ in the arse with your hard cock, and hear him moan about your supple, yet rigid flesh.
"Since acceleration is distance divided by time"
Well, actually, no it isn't.
Acceleration is force divided by mass.
Oh, I get it, it's a Taoist thing, right? Anyway, this is his best effort yet, as far as I've seen.
3/0
Clearly, there is nothing to divide by, so the answer is 3.
:)
BTW, even if your mathematical analysis were correct, your interpretation of "a=d" is still far from the correct one. The correct interpretation would be the production of a black hole swallowing up the universe to compensate for the paradox of mismatched dimensions.

Dr. Weir: 'I created the Event Horizon to reach the stars, but she's gone much, much farther than that. She tore a hole in our universe, a gateway to another dimension. A dimension of pure chaos. Pure... evil. When she crossed over, she was just a ship. But when she came back... she was alive! Look at her, Miller. Isn't she beautiful?'
