In the Christian faith it isn't an opinion it is a fact. You choose whether you go to heaven or hell.
As I know of no other heaven or hell choices then the facts show the belief is based on the choice of the individual.
FULL STOP and not an opinion.

*SIGH* Not this crap again...
Okay, I'll humour you. God created the universe, correct? And that includes heaven and hell, correct? God created the criteria by which one goes to hell, correct? And god is the one who enforces those criteria, correct? So, ultimatly, god is the one who choose who goes to hell, not us, is it not?
So, yeah, nobody "chooses" to go to hell. It's just god who gives us the sadistic choice of "WORSHIP ME OR SUFFER FOREVER!!!"
Most religions have some form of what Christians call heaven and hell. If you obey the deity as a good little sheep, you'll be rewarded, and if you don't you'll be punished. What the consequences to your action are, on the world here and now, is of no importance in religion. It's just the choice of obeying or not. Oh, and the choice of which deity to obey, of course, as they all seem to want slightly different things...
No full stop and all just opinions, in other words.
In the Muslim faith it isn't an opinion it is a fact. You choose whether you go to heaven or hell.

FULL STOP and not an opinion.
Fixed by changing one word.
".....and that's my opinion, so there!!"
Those other choices that you haven't considered include that their is neither heaven nor hell, so don't hope for one imaginary place and fear the other. Grow up instead.
Both heaven and hell are pretty poorly defined in the Abrahamic religions. Is heaven "the bosom of Abraham" as jews say? A place with pearly gates like christian tradition says? Is hell just separation from god, or is it a place of eternal torment? Is it the place where jesus went after he died but before he rose again, or is it just the grave as the OT says?
Define your terms.
@ Kanna
There are further options too:eg:
1) There is Heaven but no Hell
2) This is Hell. We are already in it.(possible)
3) This is Heaven ( unlikely IMO if you see what's going on in around us )
4) Both Heaven and Hell are inside us.
5) We may or may not have a choice about any of the above options or combinations thereof.
Not saying I believe any of the above, but I've met people who do.
Jonathan Edwards.
Can you say 'OSA S'? I know you can, Sissy.
You're not him. Therefore no subjective 'opinion' allowed.
"FULL STOP and not an opinion."
You seem to think very highly of your own intellect, and don't bother saying it's "god"'s, if you correctly chose what to believe in then you must have some reason to do so, right?
Confused?
