Let's hold Obama to the **SAME** standards as every other president!!!
Other presidents had established families, relatives and friends who visited the mother and newborn at their home and/or hospital and were thrilled to testify to anyone who asked that they **knew ** the newborn baby president and his family. Other presidents have church records of christenings and many witnesses who attended. Other presidents had **proud** doctors and midwives who proudly announce that they delivered the baby president to be.
Oh?...Obama can't do that. Well!...Let hold him to a LESSER standard that other presidents. Let's have present:
long form birth certificate
adoption records,
draft registration
passport details
proof that he swore allegiance to the U.S. on his return to the U.S.
This is pretty simple stuff. If his citizenship were on the up and up he could have all this clearly up in 3 days and $100. That he has armies of lawyers working to hide this information is ( in itself) highly suspicious.

"adoption records"
...What?
@Barack Obama
Yes, yes it is.
Wait, official documents are a lesser standard than eyewitness accounts?
Not that I've ever heard the former for any president, let alone every president, but then I'm not American.
Where are you people getting this nonsense?
Here's how it works: As you are making the positive claim, the burden of proof lies with you. That is to say, if you think he is not eligible to be POTUS, then you must show evidence which supports the assertion. It isn't up to Obama to disprove your absurd claims.
What do the Freepers want? I mean even if Obama were to be found to be DQed the 20th Amendment is pretty clear that at this point in time Biden would become the President. McCain lost, he isn't coming back, it's OVER!
I'm pretty sure the only two things he has to provide are #1 and #4, since he was born in the USA and moved to another country for a time...
What's that you say? He did?
Once again, I am not Obama,
You won't even recognize me. See Jesus is going to come back preaching all his hippie shit, and that's when I'll pop out of the woodwork. I'll round up all of you 'good christians' to help me get rid of him. Only instead of just crucifying Jesus, I'm going to take out all of his followers too.
The best part of my plan is that I'm going to make you buy tickets to watch. Remember the 'mark of the beast'? Yeah, that's just the stamp for you to get back in.
It will be so funny to watch you people cheer my rise in power.
The FEC, Secretary of State (Hawaii), and the Supreme Court of the United States (including the conservative members) have all reached the conclusion that Mr. Obama's birth certificate (proving he was born in Hawaii) is valid and genuine. I think that their opinions matter a bunch more than some ignorant shit-kicker.
BTW, he also had to satisfy officials in his home state of Illinois in order to serve in the Illinois Senate and needed to satisfy Senate rules to serve in the U.S. Senate. He also needed to prove his identity to get his passport.
And, I almost forgot, demanding church records would be a "religious test" and is, by definition, unconstitutional.
long form birth certificate- No less than the Republican gov of Hawaii has said that she reviewed his birth certificate and it is genuine. The additional information is protected by state privacy laws and is not going to provide any more useful information about his place of birth anyhow, if it's anything like California's it's just demographic info for state research purposes such as when Mrs. Dunham started prenatal care.
adoption records- he's not adopted, and it wouldn't matter, because he was born in the US and thus is a citizen no matter what.
draft registration- the draft was over by the time he was old enough, and anyhow lack of draft registration would not nullify the evidence of US birth in #1
passport details- Jesus Christ, are you trying to get a fake ID in his name? The birth certificate is all you need to verify that he was born in the US, that being the whole point of a birth certificate.
proof that he swore allegiance to the U.S. on his return to the U.S.- What? There's no ceremony to do that after returning from living abroad. The only people who have to swear allegiance are immigrants applying for citizenship, which he had from birth because he was born in the US.
@LM:
I think by draft registration they are referring to the requirement dating from around 1979 or so to register for "Selective Service" (which is the draft under another name). There is no active draft at the moment, but every American boy has to register when they reach age 18. This is so if they re-institute the draft it can be put in motion very quickly because the names & information of the prospective draftees will already be on hand.
I remember this coming up at some point in the campaign, but I don't remember what the resolution was. Either he was just old enough to have missed the requirement (which as I say was instituted around 1979, give or take a year or so), or he was required to register and had done so. Either way I doubt that failing to have registered would disqualify him for the presidency.
Edit: A little digging on the Web indicates that he registered in September 1980, about 45 days after the requirement went into effect.

I've never seen the doctor who delivered Bush being interviewed. But then again who'd want to own up to that!
Confused?
