Other way around-Bible disproves carbon dating. The problem with carbon dating is that it assumes an 'old' earth and a predictable rate of decay. Atoms would not have decayed before sin, and the rate of decay would have increased dramatically after the flood.

Atoms would not have decayed before sin
Wow, and I thought the creationist belief that dangerous animals like lions and sharks being herbivores before sin was crazy, this might take the cake for that.
@checkmate
What on earth do isotopes have to do with sin?
It's a play on words, basically. They see isotope decay as being the same as moral decay or the decay of a dead body. They either don't know or don't care that radioactive decay actually makes the resulting atom more stable. They only care about the fact that the word is the same.
>Atoms would not have decayed before sin
Correct, Jesus altered the very laws of the universe, to get even with two people, and all their descendants forevermore, because they ate one of his precious apples. This is beyond stupid, even for creationists.
Floods don't change the rate of decay. As for atoms not decaying before sin, Adam was 130 when Seth was born, at which point Cain was already an adult, so obviously the Fall couldn't have occurred more than about 100 years after Creation - not enough time to affect C14 dating. None of your "theory" is in scripture anyway. Why not just say "God poofed the C14 out of existence to fool us." That's what the Flying Spaghetti Monster would have done.
The problem with carbon dating is that it assumes an 'old' earth and a predictable rate of decay.
Correct, as there seems to be no solid evidence that it has changed. And no, a badly written collection of Bronze Age myths does not count as 'solid evidence'.
Atoms would not have decayed before sin, and the rate of decay would have increased dramatically after the flood.
...which would actually mean the world is older than we think it is, if this were true.
The 'Genesis Rock', brought back by the Apollo 15 astronauts. Proven to be the exact age of the Earth: 4.5 billion years.
Therefore 'Sin' accelerates time too?!
“Other way around-Bible disproves carbon dating.”
Science doesn’t work that way. You can’t disprove the theory behind carbon dating unless and until you provide a better theory that explains why carbon 14 APPEARS to behave as a means of dating organic remains.
“The problem with carbon dating is that it assumes an 'old' earth and a predictable rate of decay.”
That’s not the assumption, that’s the conclusion from a shitload of observations. Feel free to provide that better theory to explain why our observations must lead to a different conclusion.
“Atoms would not have decayed before sin,”
There are several places in the Bible that say not to add to the contents of the Bible, it’s a sin. SO, either show the scripture that says this clearly, or produce the experimentation that supports this conclusion.
“and the rate of decay would have increased dramatically after the flood.”
Why?
And why did all the rates of decay increase in such a way that they all dovetail together along with other, non-decay based methods of dating?
I mean, you guys insist that all strata were laid down by the same event, why do rocks at one level show a greater age than rocks that were buried at a lesser depth?
Confused?
