The reason I don't believe in evolution is that from the moment anything living comes to life it has to find food. Nothing in this world has time for food to evolve. We can't eat rocks. We have to eat something organic wether dead or alive. When God made this world he made it in perfect balance so everything could eat and survive.

Actually, there are mineral-eating bacteria right now, but as long as you stay away from volcanic vents, your brain should be safe from them.
If a shark is to eat, then a seal is to die. If a seal is to live, then a shark is to starve. I guess there is balance in such a creation, but I wouldn't call the creator benevolent for doing that. It's like a bad horror movie where crazy evil scientists play god.
And now you know why, in fiction, only crazy evil people play god. It's called casting the expert.
And it violates the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, and there's not enough moon dust, and where did morality come from and blah, blah, blah all the other Sunday-school shit that was debunked a century ago.

All plants have to do to find food is sing "Good Morning, Sunshine".
Salt (and a list of minerals as long as my arm that are essential to our survival) used to be alive in your world did they?
Here's a tip for you: 'organic' in these circumstances does not mean 'was once alive'. It means carbon based molecules. Large amounts of inert organic compounds were precursors to life. The food was already there.

Nylonase disagrees with you!
In 1975 a team of Japanese scientists discovered a strain of Flavobacterium, living in ponds containing waste water from a nylon factory, that was capable of digesting certain byproducts of nylon 6 manufacture, such as the linear dimer of 6-aminohexanoate. These substances are not known to have existed before the invention of nylon in 1935. Further study revealed that the three enzymes the bacteria were using to digest the byproducts were significantly different from any other enzymes produced by other Flavobacterium strains (or, for that matter, any other bacteria), and not effective on any material other than the manmade nylon byproducts.
@1564658:
"If a shark is to eat, then a seal is to die. If a seal is to live, then a shark is to starve. I guess there is balance in such a creation, but I wouldn't call the creator benevolent for doing that." I agree completely. And that is one of the major reasons that I can no longer believe in a kind, benevolent god.
That is a stupid reason, Tommie. By the way, evolution doesn't require belief. It requires understanding.
Your question is so daft it amazes us all. The fact is that asking why there are "still" monkeys is ludicrous because when the line split between what became monkeys and what became human there were neither monkeys or humans. You might as well ask since Monkeys exist why are there still humans. It is the same question.
Does it hurt to be that dumb?
tracer clarified:
@ Meeeh :
Just be aware that the linear dimer of 6-aminohexanoate IS an organic molecule.
Thank you!
I was not aware of this, I am not a chemist. I'll use this more carefully if the word 'organic' is used.
Contrary to creationists, I am open to learn new stuff and adapt :)
"When God made this world he made it in perfect balance so everything could eat and survive."
Except God made carnivores, making it impossible for everything to both eat and survive, dumbass.
And you think that your not believing in evolution has anything at all to do with whether or not it is actually true?
Try not believing in gravity and walking off a cliff...see how that works for you...
Confused?
