[On why the Bible is the correct religious text]
It is the only Book that we can have knowledge of the Creator of which that knowledge also came through His Beloved Son Jesus.

Ok, english is not my first language. I re-read this sentence maybe ten times, very carefully. All I can understand is something like "through this book we learn of God and Jesus and that is because it is the only book that speak of them and because Jesus speaks through it". Heck, no, I still misunderstood this lamb, I think. Anything can clarify this? I am very confused.
Justin covered one of my points, with undoubtedly a better topic than one I was going to think of.
And shall we examine this 'book'. No it's not the only book. The Gospel of Mary, Judas, Secret Mark, Phillip etc, also mentioned these things. You might like to start with investigating gnosticism and the Nag Hammadi library.
JustinGG -- Lay off Hat, my deity, and my savior, the Cat, blessed be his name.
Ted -- Which made me think of this exchange:
"God is as real as I am," said the old man. I was relieved to hear it as I knew Santa wouldn't lie to me.
We know the bible is true, because it says it is? Is this the best argument you can come up with? With all the evidence to the contrary? Try this:
A man is on trial for murder. A dozen eywitnesses point to him from the stand, stating they witnessed the man commit said crime. The accused then takes the stand, and proclaims his innocence, citing his own claim of innocence as proof that he didn't commit the crime.
Would you take that argument seriously?
You all mistunderstand. Old testament, written by God and forcasting Jesus. New Testament , Jesus comes and speaks of Gid the father , bible records facts.
Conclusion, God teh Father and God the son testify for each other and record those details in the Bible. Thats hardly circular logic ..
er. wut ? I confused myself
Confused?
