Many Christians do not realize that they could ever lose their religious freedom. We just voted in a president, Obama, who I believe will pass the "hate speech" bill. I do believe that will go against the Bible and outlaw the Bible. Communism is fast approaching!

At least she acknowledges that the bible is hateful...at least, I think she does. It probably doesn't even register with her, though. She's so brainwashed into thinking that her god is love that she doesn't even see the fact that the hate spewed in it is actually hate. Denial of reality is what causes you to hate, you dumb bitch.
You don't even know what Communism is. If you did, you'd realize that Applebee's, McDonald's, Wells Fargo, etc. are actually really close to some sort of government institution/restaurant.

How is it that communism has gone from a term involving a form of economy where everything is shared to a term that broadly covers anything that is government related in a way that is conceived to be bad?
I was not aware that there was a 'hate speech' bill in the works, but at least you have the fortitude to admit that your holy book would be banned under anti-hate speech legislation
Just because you may not be able to openly call for the eradication of Gays, Atheists, Pagans and anyone else who disagrees with you, DOES NOT MAKE IT PERSECUTION.
The US already has hate crime laws, but they don't cover gay people. They do cover race and religion though.
So luvvom is just worried that he won't be able to "beat up some fags" without getting a harsher sentence.
This is a little off subject, but I read the thread and it seems "Jean" - The Virtuous Woman got a visit from family services the other day because of how she is raising her children. She teaches them that they were born worthless, full of sin, god hates them etc. (didn't someone post her thoughts here once?) Someone reported her for child abuse (emotional).
Anyway I was glad to hear it and hope the kids get the help they need. The disturbing thing was that she was getting support from her peers, although one man wrote against her.
Sigh. I'm Canadian, and even I know that presidents don't have enough power to overrule the constitution on a whim. Plus, doesn't congress pass bills, not the house?
These "virtuous" women need to go back to Junior high.
By the way, did she just admit that the bible is hate speech? Damn. I mean, it's a violent book, but even I -- the evil atheist -- don't consider it hate speech.

The House and the Senate are two halves of Congress. Both halves have to pass a bill for it to go to the President to become law.
The reason there are two parts to Congress is that in the House, seats are based on a state's population while in the Senate every state gets two seats. This means that states with high populations can't kick around the little states, but little states can't force through legislation that would be to the detriment of the big states.
