I don't think racism is the problem here - it's Muslims getting away with obscene things and being unable to acknowledge someone isn't white for fear? of being branded a racist.

If your way of acknowledging someone isn't white is saying "go back to your own country, Paki" then yes, you'll be branded a racist. For...being racist. Do you want to engage in racism without being called on it?

So basically anybody who doesn't bow to the god of diversity and who express reservations about third world immigration is an inbred redneck whose opinions do not matter. You seem to like stereotyping a lot.
Sorry LH, despising somebody for being what he or she is, not for anything he or she says or does, is racism. In fact, it's the ESSENCE of racism. This guy doesn't care that(mostly because of POVERTY and MALADPTATION), Bangladeshies have problems adapting to the western reality. He's clearly saying that "he hates them because they exist.

Note that he doesn't claim he's not a racist, just that he doesn't see that as being a problem. After all, he wouldn't have to be racist if those other races would all just spontaneously disappear.
Really at this point, the only thing to be done is to bash his head in with a hammer. Except that then he wouldn't get a chance to learn his lesson, and the rest of the BNP would just blame it on Muslims.
Maybe if this guy lived in Podunk, South Dakota (no intended offence to any fellow FSTDTers who live there) I could understand his dislike and confusion-though it's nice to remember that the first settlers of America were not, in fact, Caucasian. (Unless this guy is British, which he might be, since he used the term "holiday.")
It looks like the poster in from the UK, you have to bear in mind that in the UK Muslims do get away with obscene things (the best example would be the police refusing to investigate honour killings for fear of upsetting the Muslim community)
Yeah, totally. It looks like fucking pakistan where I live. None of these people speak English. I don't mind blacks, Mexicans, etc. if they learn English and are American, but ths Islamic Muslims are full of shit and are only here to cause destruction. They hat eour culture and will tell you that to your face if you ask them. No joke. I asked this Pakistani guy at the supermarket why he was here, and he said "just to make money on the high tech market and then I'm heading back to Pakistan." (He named the city but I don't remember the name; Islamabad, I think). So I said "well, don't you like it here? Don't you want to be an American?" And he's like "No, I have zero interest in having anything to do with American culture. We think your country is disgusting in Pakistan. We wouldn't send our dogs to live here." Then he started going off on the way I was dressed (halter top and skirt, nothing obscene or unusually revealing for summer in California) and telling me how Islamic Muslim women are so superior becuaase they hide under shitbags and don't show their faces in public.

That's true, but with this guy's comment about "non-white" faces and "feeling like he's in Bangladesh", it's rather obvious that he's(like all BNP supporters) using "Muslim" as a euphemism for "dirty brown people".
@ LH: I think you're missing the point. We're not all saying, "OMG Non-liberal thought! GET HIM!" We're pointing out how abhorrent racism is. The comment that guy made was racist. He said he has a problem with even seeing non-whites. And it's not a matter of politics to recognize that or call it out as backwards.
@Strawberry: You could say that if a Muslim was running our country, but... that's not really the case. They're not OMG CONTROLLING EVERYTHING. As well: the man you spoke to may have been vehement, but I doubt he's representative of everyone from that country.
Bangladesh is a fine country. Primarily low-lying floodplains, there are a number of man-made and natural scenic places. The coral reefs are especially beautiful. The Jamuna Bridge is the longest in the world and is quite impressive. Even the rice paddies have a sort of exotic but simplistic beauty. It is also has one of the quickest growing middle-classes in the world despite a number of economic setbacks. All in all, a fine country and a place I would not mind having a vacation in.
