["Let me add school teachers to the list of people whose integrity you insult."]
They should be insulted. But I made it very clear this is a personal vendeda. But even if my reasons are personal, I have every reason to believe that we need to protect our young people from the abuse they receive from the public school system. Also we need to protect them from the Godless, atheistic nonsense that they teach in the public school system. Like the Godless theory of evolution, for example.

Teaching known scientific facts and theories, such as evolution, is not child abuse; lying to children and trying to prevent them from learning those facts in an effort to brainwash them to a particular fantasy-based ideology is a form of child abuse.
As usual, JohnR7 is situated completely and steadfastly in opposition to reality.

"They should be insulted."
Right, because they advocate education and discovery of facts.[/sarcasm]
"But I made it very clear this is a personal vendeda."
A personal "vendeda," how mature.
"But even if my reasons are personal, I have every reason to believe that we need to protect our young people from the abuse they receive from the public school system."
Fine, homeschool your spawn, just don't ask for public funds to do it.
"Also we need to protect them from the Godless, atheistic nonsense that they teach in the public school system."
Like what? Like facts? Like the scientific method and the things that have been discovered by the scientific method? Health care? Nutrition? Diversity?
"Like the Godless theory of evolution, for example."
The ToE does not preclude a delusion of a deity. Good sense and a complete lack of supporting evidence preclude a belief in your "God," but not the ToE.
We need to protect our young people from the supernaturalist, theistic nonsense that they teach in the churches and want to teach in the public schools. Like the alleged theory of intelligent design, for example.
As someone who comes from a family of people involved in teaching in various ways, let me just say this: FUCK YOU! Anyone who does not respect or appreciate teachers, describes their hard work as 'nonsense', and insults them can just go fuck themselves. JohnR7, teachers do more good for humanity in a single day than you've ever done in your life.
My sentiment exactly, Axver. I also come from a family of teachers (my mother, my father, an uncle, an aunt and a cousin plus the girlfriend of one of my little brothers are all teachers, covering the range from primary school to university, and another aunt is a school psychologist) and I would also have chosen that career if not for my total lack of people skills. JohnRstupid has no idea of the work and the dedication it requires to be a teacher, or of how it can wear them down, trying to educate kids despite opposition from many of the kids and parents and despite budget cuts and other forms of lack of support from the administration.
On a side note, how did the first part of the "Because.... is no way to go through life" sentence go?
Yes, evolution is godless; i.e. it does not require god to operate. By the same token, the theory of relativity is godless too. So is the theory of electromagnetism by Maxwell, wave-particle duality, quantum gravitation etc. etc. etc. What's your point? You want to ban every discipline of science? Oh, wait... this is JohnR7, of course he does. Pardon me. [silently leaves the podium]
Oh yeah... and they have to pledge that Godless Pledge of Allegiance, don't they? And learn about the Godless United States Constitution and the Godless White House, and the Godless Founding Fathers' fight against the Godless British with their Godless National Anthem of "Godless Save the King".
Confused?
