In the animal kingdom, in any species wherein the male is called a 'buck', the female is a 'doe'.

The facial features mentioned in the first paragraph...well, anecdotes aren't data, but most people of African extract that I've seen have faces that are far more redolent of, well, humans than other primates, being as how they are, y'know, human. Non-human primates don't even have much in the way of lips or noses anyway, not that anyone like you would let facts get in the way in your desperate scramble towards the bottom.
And besides, phrenology went the way of the neanderthal centuries ago. It just survives among people with a 19th centure state of mind.
