Where would such smart people come up with utter balderdash? What time wasted on idiocy....

Well atleast I don't waste my time digging up rocks and making profound statements that people and trees come from a common ancestor. Sheer lunacy. Do you evolutionists even hear yourself talk?

If you want to be related to trees, well you go ahead.. But what I fear most is that you are actually related to the squirrels, and your relatives are calling you from the top of the tree.

to use your analogy with families:
Imagine the sister of your grand(^80)father, who lived around 2500 years ago. While the family of your grand(^80)father stayed at home in a region that would later become france, his sister married a travelling merchant and (unknown to your part of the family) settled down in saxonia and later emigrated to the island that would later become england.
So, if you would one day meet a member of the fammily tree established by the sister of your grand(^80)father, would you recognize him/her as a member of your family, would you invite him to meetings of your family and would you think that he should be able to claim any inheritances that are made within your part of the family?

Well, your degree of relationship with a tree is much weaker, with the family of plants and animals having split several billion years ago.
But of course you prefer to believe in a collection of books from 2000-3000 years ago and in th calculations of a monk from a few hundred years ago which claim that earth is just 6000 years old, despite all evidence that earth is much much older.
Hm, if you choose to stay in the medieval ages with your knowledge so be it. But please don´t use any medicines then that were created with the help of modern medicine and biology, but stay true to the medicines that are prescribed in your bible ;)

"atleast" you don't waste your time learning grammar and spelling. A poorly written, badly spelled argument makes you look so informed and educated and as you know what you're talking about... Or, ya know, not. Not fair, perhaps, but that's life.

They don't dig up rocks, they look at DNA samples in the lab.
Erm, we're closely related to squirrels than trees, much, much closer.

(Funny, in the Swedish version of Wikipedia, it sounds like criticism of ToE is mostly a thing of the past, by people who didn't know better at the time. It's all "was attacked", "mocked", not present tense.
For example: "During the 1920's, Christians in the US of A reacted to the fact that the ToE was taught in public schools.[...] They tried to prohibit the teaching of the ToE.")
