[A discussion about the age of the Earth and creation]
Never sacrifice your faith on the altar of human logic.

How do you know what God's logic is like? How do you know his logic isn't the same as ours?
"DON'T QUESTION ME, ATHEIST HEATHEN! YOUR PERSECUTION OF ME PROVES THE BIBLE IS TRUE! BUUUUUUUUUUUURNNNNNNNNNNNNNN"
I still have faith fundies like you will develop rationality at one point.
Although this is not backed up by any logic whatsoever, that's what I believe in.

That's very commendable. I've lost that particular bit of faith but, I still think we owe it to ourselves to try. If we don't try to occasionally expose them to a little logic? It's partially our fault.
Alas. Whenever I've tried to comment on fundy sites, or their political wing which they mislabel "conservative", I'm immediately banned as soon as I try to interject a little rational thought.
For example: I was banned from Red State for a two word post. "What WMD"?

As I said, there is no rationality behind such a behavior. Educating fundies is sisyphus work. However, the putative outcome justifies the irrational hardship one has to go through.
I try to see it that way, if we do not manage to get them to logic, we will convert their children.
Let us know how all that blind faith works out for you...
We'll continue making advances in science, medicine, technology, so on, so forth...
God shouldn't have given us brains if he didn't want to think.
Well, your god, anyway. Mine are perfectly fine with people using logic and reason.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
