Just watched the trailer...I don't think that this movie will flop, it will be the next Lord of the Rings, and it is a trilogy. Much prayer will be needed to keep children from going to this movie.

This has been such a comfort to me when the young die. We do not always understand that in God's mercy He may take home a child or a young person to preserve them from the evil to come. I believe He did this to my best friend in 7th grade. He died. He was a good kid but his brothers became gay. I believe God preserved my friend from ever having to choose his "sexuality". He never became of age to have to. He is in heaven because he was a believer.

Christians aren't concerned with self righteously condemning, it's the fact that the legitimacy of this sin has a direct impact on every aspect of society...school, church, hate crimes, etc. It is and will continue to grow persecution of the church.

I don't worry so much about murderers, they aren't threatening the existence of my church. They aren't indoctrinating school children into their lifestyle. They don't demand I take pictures at their next killing or they'll sue. ETC.

The should also warn girls that sperm/semen affects their immune systems rather dramatically. God designed girls so that our bodies wouldn't reject a foreign body, like a baby by making it possible for our immune systems to be compromised. It's fascinating how God created our bodies to work, we were designed to be with one partner. Having multiple really does a number on women's immunity. It's part of the reason that the swine flu is so devastating to pregnant women, their immune systems are compromised by pregnancy and the flu is deadly to them. Having multiple partners, compromises a woman's immunity to viruses and disease greatly.

Do you ever feel guilty giving to a charity that's non-Christian? We get solicitations from our local fire department, the ambulance service, cancer society, heart association and so on. I guess I worry that if I send money to a secular group that I'm wasting money that could have gone to a missionary or to get Bibles for China or something. We give missions money at church every week and we try to give to Open Doors each month so it's not that we're not giving to those things I just feel like I could do better.

I think they confuse love thy neighbor with what the Bible says about the subject.

I tried debating a raging atheist over evolution and creation, and it ultimately caused me to seriously question my faith for several years!!! satan can really fool us with logical sounding arguments and has dragged more than one solid Christian into doubt over such issues!

Some prophecy experts believe that the New Jerusalem will hover above the earth during the Millennium, and that we'll live in it. Then, of course, once the new earth is created, the Heavenly city will rest smack-dab on the surface of the new planet.

What scares me is what if the unrepentant lesbian uses the daughter to 'get back' at the now Christian ex...what if she is out to 'make' the daughter gay and is using those visits towards that purpose? Most are like that. The only view that matters is theirs. They want to be able to have their opinions but deny everyone else who disagrees with them.

When an Atheist states that there is “No God”, I as a Christian and lover of the creative processes of God would have to agree. You see as much as and Atheist wants to be an Atheist, the premise of their argument makes them exactly what they really are: A- theist. Which leads me to believe that there are none of them!

Let me explain. The number Zero is immensely interesting just in and of itself. Saying “the number Zero” is very much akin to saying that “there is NO God”, do to the fact that Zero of its own admission is seen as the absence of numbers, however can’t be described as anything but, and its implied non-existence can’t be explained if it, and numbers, don’t exist. Speaking of homosexuality being the 'hot-button' sin, I think the reason some in the Christian world speak out against this particular sin SO often is that the homosexuals are SO extremely vocal about claiming that being gay is 'normal' and something to be celebrated and accepted. You don't hear anyone (that I know of) claiming that their sin of lying or stealing, for instance, is right and good. JMHO

A suicidal 14 year old...suicidal over the rape or over being pregnant? Then I suggest big time intensive counseling and grief therapy. But that baby still has a right to exist. Murder shouldn't be a choice, an abortion in this case, is murder. How suicidal would this girl feel knowing a baby that was half her, is doomed and never given a chance?

Trying to prove God to an atheist is like trying to prove there were WMDs in Iraq to a Bush-hater.

I had the same rapture dream for a few years about 2-3 times a year. I was just a young child in the dream though, and back on the street where I grew up. I did though actually hear the voices in an angelic choir coming from above where the clouds were parting. NOT what I thought it would sound like. Just bizarre musical scales coming from a million voices. (This was confirmed by many who've heard the same thing whether in visions, dreams or while conscious.) I was running down the street looking up screaming He's coming, He's coming! I was in an utter panic trying to reach my house before it was too late, I was thinking of my family and how was I going to reach them before ZAP.

Every time, I never do. I'm just about at the front door and the dream ends.

I was so frightened in that dream that played over and over again over the course of time, I could practically dictate the way it would occur while I was asleep.

Now was this from God? I don't know. I don't see why it would be. I don't see why it would be from Satan either. Perhaps it's many ideas and worries within my self-conscious that blended with my faith and it came out while I was asleep where we're vulnerable to suggestion and over active brain activity.

Funny thing is the dreams ceased once I found out my childhood home was torn down and another one built in it's place.

Our brains are a real mystery aren't they?

Think about it. If you saw millions of people being changed into glorious resurrected bodies (including the dead in the grave) and then watched as they ascended to God in Glory - which shown greatly before you, would you be able to ignore what you saw and accept the lies of the government as to what happened? What if the Rapture takes place behind the veil and the whole world simultaneously misses it? What if the whole world who is still in sin is unable to witness the Rapture in real time because they do not posses the righteousness of Christ?

I believe it is a priviledge and honor to see the Glory of God. I don't believe that those who are still in sin will be able to witness God's Glory in real time. To them, I think it will seem as if we simply vanished into thin air leaving an opportunity for the evil one to deceive - as there will be no witnesses to say otherwise - that is, unless God chooses to let a few left behind see in order to testify for those who may believe. Only God knows. :)

I doubt anything made by man will be taken up. But the chaos of the earth being torn apart, to the heavens shaking with the noise and sound waves of the Last Trump, to the planes falling from the sky, to cars crashing, to machinery gone wild because no one is at the controls, to the patients on the operating table left with their insides on the outside, no one is going to be saying "OH my, Wilma lost her ring. Where is Wilma? "

Two towers falling is going to be a warm up for what is going to happen. And when it settles for a moment before the punishments begin, some folks will think it was aliens, some will say the bodies are just crushed before finding, but some will remember what their mama used to talk about and weep.

Our weeping will be over. What we left behind is just stuff we don't need anymore. It is going to be great.

Thank you everyone. God recently delivered me from porn addiction in a rather spectacular way...that was about a month ago. SInce that time, my prayer time at night has been seriously intense. Usually with some kind of vision or direct interaction with the Holy Spirit, it has been amazing. Most my visions are uplifting or comforting in some way. This is the first time he has given me this kind of warning.

I really have no idea. Could happen that way or perhaps the Lord has a less dramatic approach planned.

ANYTHING is possible. The Great Delusion must be something so easily believable because of HOW we're raptured. Again scripture says it's a great mystery and that's probably a good thing.

See how all the End Time movies make up rapture scenarios as if they were Truth? Now, unbelievers may be seeking THAT kind of rapture and when it doesn't occur like that, they won't think it's the Rapture that's been spoken of so much. They'll be easily deluded.

As for anything being left behind that's also conjecture. It's possible that in our "renewal" or "change" that those things just disappear or disintegrate.

I think the End Times movies have done a great disservice. They've made conjecture and personal interpretation into accepted truth/fact.

And if He wanted to, all He has to do is just think and we'd be again, not needing even a subparticle of an atom that once was us.

But I think the idea of the earth just exploding with the force of all the bits of all the dead in Christ and being gathered up to Jesus is quite "God-like". Let the show begin!

So many of my family members have different views and it can be frustrating at times. I've taken to listening, waiting for a moment to interject and then say something like, "this is foretold in the Bible." I have to smile to myself because they try to continue with what they are saying without missing a beat. A steadfast rule in our family is religious freedom and tolerance which means we can all express our views. Even so, I'm the only one that says, "this is foretold in the Bible."

Because God is the Giver and Taker of Life. It is not for men to play God.

And with our technology today a person can be pain free or even put into a coma induced state so they do not suffer.

And this "power" of euthanasia will be abused. Especially like in other countries where the family gets to decide. (based on the burden the sick or elderly person presents to the family)

I am constantly hearing people who are pro choice say 'that doesn't mean i'm pro abortion'. Well isn't that basically the same thing? They always come back with that they are for women's right to do with their body. I guess it's ok for them to do whatever they want with that poor baby's body.

Well, this past summer when it was time for us to get the chicken pox booster that is required, the nurse got out two more needles for my 12 year old and I said, "whoa, what is that for?" She said, "well, they are not mandatory but one is for HPV and the other for meningitis." I said, "If it's not mandatory, you should ask me first." I wonder how many other parents just go in and let their kids shot with anything without asking or being asked? Needless to say my daughter did not get either because thankfully our doc did not recommend either at this time.

The truth is without God you cannot live a lifestyle that is full of goodness.

It's funny how one event precedes another event and then you have this domino effect. God is taken out of the classroom, God is minimalized and you have this feminist agenda and women start having sex outside of marriage. Look where it's gotten us, divorce is rampant, abortion is epidemic, planned parenthood has taken over in teaching kids all sorts of rotten things, welfare mothers are penalized if they marry, mothers are chloroforming their children so they can go out to play, men are eternal boys, gay agenda emerges, along with transgenders, 1/4 of teens have STDs and kids, young kids, are sexually assaulting each other. I don't think God is going to let this go on much longer.

My neighbor and I were talking about this today. She told me about a conversation she had with another Christian about stocking up on stuff. About how Christians are about to face persecution and it's starting somewhat now with "gay rights vs the church" issues. She's also convinced the Rapture is going to happen very soon. I didn't realize till today just how "on the same page" we were. It was a nice long conversation.
