MLK was assassinated
And it wasn't by some lone nut with a gun. He was assassinated by gov't forces, probably CIA. And those same forces would still have all their guns under this crazy disarmament scam to "keep us safe". And they'd have even more power to assassinate with impunity.

You do realize King was a committed pacifist. As a matter of his personal ethics, he would never have owned a firearm, let alone shot back when James Earl Ray (and nobody but) shot him.
Now, as to the mysterious gov't forces, do you have any actual proof? Pictures? Forensics? Confessions? No? Then you're just guessing.
Finally, what disarmament scam? The one the SCOTUS shot down?
This posting has more BS per square inch than a field that's just been fertilized.
No, it was by a lone nut with a gun. If you don't get this, I'm not going to pay attention to anything else you have to say, either.
Why, exactly, would the CIA assasinate MLK? And how would that lead to anything that benifits them? And how would they be able to predict events that happen 50 years later in their master plan?
Why is it so hard to accept that some people are simply crazy?
And your evidence for this is what exactly? James Earl Ray's assertion that he didn't do it?
Why is it that when someone is assassinated, the official story is never true, but there had to be some big government conspiracy behind it?
"And they'd have even more power to assassinate with impunity."
according to you they had plenty, so who gives a shit?
Gosh, and you were doing so well with that first statement.
King's surviving family believes there was a conspiracy to kill MLK Jr. , but they believe it was due more in part because King was shaking up the status quo of the country and was openly and vocally against the Vietnam War.
At least their conspiracy theory makes more sense than yours. Just like now with the mass shootings, bad incidences are not going to get people to willingly hand over firearms.
I'm no conspiracy theorist, but the James Earl Ray theory has always had holes and declassified docs do show the FBI and CIA was very suspicious of MLK. They widely considered him a "Communist agitator" and racial rabble-rouser who upset the established order. J. Edgar Hoover had a personal vendetta against him and his "Poor Peoples' Coalition" was considered Communist subversion/recruitment by some in the gov't. You have to realize MLK was nowhere near as widely beloved and lionized while he was still alive. White conservatives hated his effing guts. They considered him in the same boat they consider Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson today. Even some white liberals considered him a radical.
Confused?
