But medicine changed and they came up with your pills.

Maybe. ONE study may not be enough to change the whole industry. Esp. if there’s any indication that another company sponsored this research in order to promote their own version of the drug, right?

Or, they know the LATEST knowledge of the industry. They promote drugs, not exorcisms. They take your blood pressure, not the length of your forefinger. THey look down your throat, not between your toes.
But State Of The Industry lags behind State Of The Art for pretty good reasons. And you’re no match for their education and their continuing education, despite your cynicism.

Um, yeah. we used to run a test on the guidance systems in the missiles. Every week. Kept the alignment up to date. EVENTUALLY, they realized it was wearing them out faster than it was updating alignments and we stopped.
More knowledge may bring changes to any issue. Doesn’t justify junking all of science, though
