[No judge of this plane or the next would ever find Hitler not guilty of genocide, and see to it that he would be punished severly. Anyone else would be either corrupt or foolish.]
well that's the way grace works. and to God, my sins, though i have never killed anyone in my life, are just as bad as Hitler's sins, though he killed millions.

Yep, commit one sin and you committed all of them. There is one sin that cn not be forgiven, blasphenmy against the holy spirit, therefore you aer going to hell. All according to the bible! Congratulations with your "true" faith with a benevolent kind and merciful god.
That is the weirdest reasoning ever. So tell a fib about your, say, report card, and you're on par with a genocidal maniac?
If her God can't tell the difference in sin, he clearly lacks depth. Although, I suppose if elf_lady_9 is made in His image, she probably lacks depth too, hm?
I honestly find the god of old testament far more just and merciful than Jesus.
Sure, he was petty murderer who tormented both his own people and people living nearby for no reason at all, and established laws that were nothing but barbaric but at least he stopped buggering people after they were dead.
Then comes 'the messiah' and "Hey, eternal burning for everyone who doesn't suck my dick!"
People like elf lady are the ones who really pushed me out of church. I was told that even thinking about a sin was as bad as actually doing it, so I decided I might as well have the fun of doing it as long as I'm gonna be condemned. Don't want to be the guy in hell for just thinking about stealing shit and premaritial sex!
What could she do to top Hitler?
Her main occupaiton seems to be to spread HIV, sell drugs, initiate big economic scams (like Enron), plunder pension funds, set hobos on fire, pour sugar in gastanks, steal christmas presents from children and crush small animals with an anvil.
So much "Godly goodness" to do, so little time...
This is the "cheap grace" concept that a lot of people outside of the fundie-stream, especially Christians, refuse to believe in and oppose as an official belief. Cheap grace leads to a cheap and shallow faith - characteristic of fundamentalism.
From Civ class: In those times, all crimes were punished equally, from petty theft to murder. So if you were caught stealing, your best bet was to kill everyone involved, since you'd be in the same trouble either way.
It's pretty disturbing that your God tells you not to sin, but then also claims, much harder, in fact, that he will forgive for anything you ever do.
So, I'm going to regret killing you, but I know God can forgive me.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
