Exterminate them all.
Seriously. I've had it with them. I cannot think of a bigger impediment to a reasonable, healthy, conscious and conscientious world than religious retards. Hunt them down and kill them in their homes.

Okay, now that you've got that out of your system.
I cannot think of a bigger impediment to a reasonable, healthy, concious, conscientious and LAWFUL world than extremist attitudes and actions on either side of the religious divide.
Some sort of inverse Poe, surely?
I mean, surely there's nobody on either side who actually thinks this way. Surely.
If this isn't a troll of some kind, then this is the kind of thing that makes Atheists look bad.
...I need a shower after reading that.
I've seen pretty much the same attitude from some commenters on this site, so unfortunately I don't find it hard to believe this is genuine.
This is why I have to expend so much energy defending atheism and explaining that we're not all like that. Well, this and Ray Comfort's lies together.
"I cannot think of a bigger impediment to a reasonable, healthy, conscious and conscientious world than religious retards."
Yeah, right on. I can't either. Oh ... Wait, I just thought of one ...
People who say things like, "Exterminate them all."
Wow, an atheist fundy. This crap sounds like the nonsense that christian and islamic fundies spout all the time. I must say, however (and I'm not condoning what this guy is talking about), that this is the exception to atheists, while it's the norm with christian and islamic fundies. We've all had our fantasies, but this sounds a little too extreme.
Ok so it's definitely possible to take the whole atheism thing WAY TOO FAR! I can't think of a bigger impediment to a reasonable, healthy, conscious and conscientious world than religious retards either, but that dosn't mean they should be killed. Bloody hell...

Look in the mirror, dick.
"Hunt them down and kill them in their homes."
This makes you morally superior to the "religious retards" you despise, how?
Meh. Sure it's stupid and extreme, but to me it doesn't feel like anything more than an ill-thought out scream of exasperation. If there were a pattern, okay. But this? This seems like wishing you could punch someone through the internet.
I can't think of a bigger impediment to a reasonable, healthy, conscious and conscientious world either, but if we can't convince them to live in a reasonable and healthy way by the strength of our ideas, we're just as bad as they are.
All violence exists at the failure of reason.
While I can't disagree with the impediment part, calling for their extermination makes you worse than they are.
Always nice to see that there's the occasional atheist out there who makes the fundies feel vindicated. And by nice, I mean stop being on my side.
I would like to exterminate every male bearing the name Charles, as all with that moniker that I've met were assholes. I don't, though, because it's wrong...but I would still watch my back if I were you...
Yes, because as history has shown, mass murder for the sake of race/belief/lackofbelief/sex/orientation/nationality/tribe is an integral part of reasonable, healthy, conscious and conscientious societies.
Have you visited Darfur recently? 1940 Europe? Bosnia/Serbia/Croatia? Then you've seen all the evidence you need!
PS, the idea of an unconscious world made me giggle a minute. Is it asleep? Can I poke it with a stick?
How long has it been since we had these non-religious fundies? Either way, it's nice to see something different.
Also, don't pretend you're on our side.
(In British accent) "Now here we have one of those extremely rare fundie atheists. There natural habitat is on the internet, reading posts from religious nutjobs. Unfortunately though, this is an extremely rare species and and is nearly extinct. However one bizarre fact about them, is that their greatest predator, the christian fundie, is also the main reason this bizarre little creature is still around today".
Charles here was commenting in response to a woman on a youtube video who said that we should bomb all the gay kids. In context, his comment would be taken as sarcastic. Posted out of context, it sounds very hateful and intolerant.
Wow, this is a surprise. I'm the the Charles who posted the above comment. The previous commentator here had it exactly right. My comment was indeed in response to a way out of hand religious bigot. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ADVOCATE HUNTING DOWN AND KILLING ANYONE. Got it? I was being sarcastic, but I can see that out of context I sound like a nutjob. Such was not my intent. I was and am exasperated by fundies OF ANY KIND whose lack of education, reason and compassion have harmed this world so often. But the only responsible course of action to counter such folks is compassion, steadfast adherence to rational ethics, and outspoken advocacy of right living. Not stooping to their level.
Whew. I hope that that clears things up.
I know Charles from the Raytractors blog.
He is OK and AFAIK does not indulge in genocide.
This has been (for me anyway) an indication of how quotes outside of their context come over wrong.
You take lines from Bill Hicks or George Carlin or Adam Black in isolation and they'll sound pretty nasty too.
From now on, I'm going to follow links provided to see the fundie's darned things in context before I comment on them.
Confucious say, "Fundie-ism like bisexual- go both ways."
Dude, stop giving me a bad name. Even Dawkins would be ashamed.
This guy might be a false flag...
At anyrate, such horrid violence is completely unnecessary when you can easily laugh them into a tight little corner.
And I walked in and sat down and they gave me a piece of paper, said, "Kid, see the psychiatrist, room 604." And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill, KILL, KILL." And I started jumping up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and he started jumping up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the Sergeant came over, pinned a medal on me, sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."_____________Arlo
