Of course, just like xtians don't bomb abortion clinics, beat gays to death, or killed Muslims and Jews in the past, as well as supposed witches. They don't kill or even threaten to at all. Nope. And I know this because I just stick my fingers in my ears, close my eyes real tight, and scream at the top of my lungs until it goes away.

I knew that people were going to find a scapegoat of some sort to blame chemical attack letters on, but honestly.... you have to be joking. Worse is that Morgana isn't the exception, the thread is full of people who share the same sentiment.

[Essentially a repost of my thoughts on the matter from yesterday's post regarding this incident:]
I heard about this on the radio when they interviewed the owner of the Re-bar (one of bars mailed to). It's a local news story for me. The owner said (to the best of my remembrance) that they would have police out, but they still "plan[ned] to party on Saturday night."
I'd actually go there in support of them, except
1) I'm now unemployed, so no monies, and 2) even if I had money, I can't drink alcohol because of the liver problems I had when I was born. Though I could go there for a Coke or something if I could pay for it.
[Is not an endorsement of Coke. In fact, I prefer a different brand of carmel-flavored soft drink myself. : )]
Also, I'd guess that the majority of people in the area are pretty tolerant of "alternative lifestyles" here. My first guess, when I heard about this guy, was some crank living in another state who heard about Seattle gay bars, maybe looked the addresses up on the Internet, and mailed them out as an act of impotant rage. But as of who actually sent them and where they came from, I haven't heard if they've actually announced it.
