Yep, seems so. Can't say I'm glad she's gone, because that would make me a sociopath or something, but reading up on her, I can say I will not be missing her. She opposed a Supreme Court Judge because he abolished executing minors, ffs. 1. Age of consent in Sweden is 15 (unless the other person is a parent or guardian, then it's 18). You don't get traumatized for life for having your pockets picked, but that's still against the law.
Children need extra protection by the society, as they are unable to protect themselves from adults who only think about their own gratification, and don't care whether the child is harmed or not. That's why crimes against children carry harsher punishment than other crimes.
If they are nothing else THAN 0 and 1; why have them in the first place?
Taking pornographic photos of children IS a sex crime against children, you asshole! Why not use CGI-ed pictures of children instead? If you say "that's not the same thing", then explain the difference. They are also only 0 and 1...
1. 18 as the age of consent is pretty ridiculous and created the idiotic idea of jailbaits in US, most countires have 16 or even a year under as the consent age.

The amount of trauma caused is dependent upon the individual involved, thus cannot be ethically reduced to "Studies show that X % of 15-year-olds....". So the informed consent of the person is required - and that requires a whole lot of input before any standard of the term "informed" is met - and that requires a level of maturity that a younger teen doesn't have. I suggest you've spilled over from stupidity to irrationality, with a giant helping of self-deception, possibly because you lack the maturity to make an informed decision yourself....

I more worry about kids being manipulated than the trauma. Let's face facts: teenagers don't have the best judgement in the world. I've been teaching high school for a while now, and...well, OK, the thought of someone my age working to seduce one of my students turns my stomach. I can also say a lot of them could be easily manipulated into a sexual relationship because, bluntly, they don't think shit through. Trauma is likely to occur afterward, mind.

And child pornography is a crime against children, so your assertion is flawed.
Who needs science to prove this? All the adults who still have serious psychological damage as a result of being sexually abused as children should be evidence enough!

Good then. However the legal adult age shouldn't be 18 or 21(although 21 is better), but it should ought be when person lives on their own and have a job
What a crappy proposal. What this person is looking for is to use anecdotes to dismantle age of consent and CP laws.
I have buddies that work in hospitals, and they have told me of the horrible injuries they have seen on children of all ages stemming from sexual abuse. Some of those stories involve taping for CP. Much rage is had after listening.

That's probably true, but the concern isn't for the pedophile; it's for the child who is forced or tricked into posing for such pornography. Would you be OK with pornographic pictures of your children being spread over the Internet?
First off you have to have the most appropriate screen name of all time, secondly if you had actually taken even a passing glance at Susan Clancy's study you would have seen that it does not justify pedophila, what she found was that victims of childhood sexual abuse often didn't experience trauma at the time of the event because they were too young to understand fully what was happening to them, and many were probably "groomed" by their abusers, leaving them confused about what they had went through. It wasn't until years later as they grew older that the realization of what had happened set in, leading to trauma and a host of other problems.
