The scriptures, and God's people were around long before Socrates. As many of the scriptures the man God Personally chose, and appeared to, -Paul, often referred to! And Paul was smart enough, and honest enough to admit it!!!

Yeah, but Socrates had much better ideas than those guys.
Socrates died in 399 B.C.E. Needless to say that was quite some time prior to the advent of Christ, the New Testament, and the apostle Paul.

I really have no clue what you're trying (and failing) to say here. Perhaps in future you should pray for guidance before making forum posts.
Well, technically he's right in that the Jewish people and their scriptures were around. However, Paul was not a contemporary of Socrates, and I am not sure Paul is the best example of a discple. You should see what Peter wrote about him. Paul was, by all accounts, the first fundie to take Jesus's teachings and twist them.
"And Paul was smart enough, and honest enough to admit it!!! "
And you're gullible enough to believe it!!!

Historical revisionism at it's most dense.

Another lie. There is no reference in the bible to Socrates, who lived centuries before Paul. But it could be that your cruddy sentence structure is obscuring your point. Rework it and get back to me.
And Paul was smart enough, and honest enough to admit it!!!
The only thing Paul was honest enough to admit was the fact that he was trying to wipe out anything that didn't have to do with the spread of his new little death cult. Everywhere he went temples came down and religious turmoil ensued. He was a hateful misogynist who loathed anyone who didn't buy into his new 'faith' and his primary targets were Pagans.

Try again, kiddo. Thank you for playing.
"The scriptures, and God's people were around long before Socrates."
Socrates: 469-399 B.C.E. Christian scriptures: ~45-140 C.E.
Socrates has you beat by a year or two it seems. I didn't include the O.T. because, well, they're not actually your scriptures. You stole them from the Jews like you guys stole most of your hodgepodge religion from others.
Still, if you want to go that route then you should be a Hindu as their religion and religious writings go back further than anyone else's.

@Fanatic-Templar: "Can someone translate his this failure from incoherent stupid to english stupid?"
Yeah, I think I finally decyphered it:
"The scriptures, and God's people, were around long before Socrates, a fact refered to by many of the scriptures of Paul--the man whom God personally chose and appeared to."
The last (partial?) sentence, however, doesn't seem to fit the previous statement. *shrug*
While Socrates walked the marbled halls, and groves, the sheep-shaggers were in tents.
Socrates was a philosopher, Paul was a zealot
Confused?
