Can I add that nobody really wants to see the evils of the world both within and without if they don't have to for the most part. It isn't a pretty picture. Evil has many forms and thrives on silence and fear. It is the nature of evil to enslave and kill, in any form.
I wish I didn't know. I wish I didn't see. And I don't fault anyone for living a protected life away from the evil of the world, if they can. Faith was necessary for my survival and I surely don't want anyone else coming into the faith. This really sucks from the practicle side of it. If you don't need to believe to keep breathing, don't. Lucky you.
