Er, treating people with kindness and forgiveness even if you don't agree with their lifestyle IS tolerance, you dimwit. Not that you have any right to 'tolerate' anyone else anyway. I mean, what makes YOU so damned superior?

Basically, you let someone into your house for about 2 seconds, apologize, and then tell them to get the fuck out. That's being hospitable, forgiving, and showing no tolerance.

In other words, if someone isn't living his life exactly the way you think he should, you make a big production of telling him how much you love him, and aren't you a good person for loving a sinner?? Then you tell him he deserves to go to hell forever, and try to take away his civil rights. Right?
You don't have to tolerate the lifestyle (though it DEFINITELY helps), but if you can't tolerate the sins of non-believers, how can you hope to understand and convert them? Jesus tells us to hang out with robbers and murderers if that's what it takes to save their souls. If you can't accept that they are human, and have flaws, how can you hope to help them?
Ironically much of the left doesn't really believe in tolerance, they try to get people fired for disagreeing with them.
Look at what they did to YouTuber Thunderf00t because he disagreed with feminism. They tried to contact his employer to get him fired and when that blew up in their faces they cried victim.
Not to mention attempts to get Mozilla CEO fired for conservative views (he was pressured to step down at the very least) and attempts to ban Donald Trump from the UK despite claiming that travel and immigration should be open to anyone.
That's why you'll always be known as the regressive left.
