And this has a great deal to do with how certain things take place that the Bible predicted. It says in the Bible that a loaf of bread will cost 20.00 in the last days.

The Bible says pretty much whatever you want it to, to people who've never read it and don't really give a damn what it actually says, anyway, as long as they can claim it justifies their position.
Bert, considering it's the bible, I wouldn't be surprised if it WAS monkeys on a stick.
And if people wanted to avoid the last days, they'll just make sure bread never costs that much. 19 sure, 21 sure, but not 20. Of course, if they WANT it to come, they'll do their darndest to make it cost that much.
[Edit]Possible contender for "knows least about one's own religion?"
You know you can't meaningfully convert ancient money to modern, right? Otherwise a denarius would be worth somewhere in the vicinity of a couple hundred dollars. (Considering the average denarius was a chip of silver about the size of a dime, I don't think that's really a workable exchange rate.)
20,000 what?, I haven't seen yet that bread costs 20.00$ or 20.00 euros or 20.00 Pounds. And by the way, do you know which currency the people in Jesus' and after used, to make such a calculation?
I've got to go with my assumption that 20.00 = £20.00 or US$20.00 and on that basis these can't be the end days, as so many fundies claim, because bread costs nowhere near that amount of money. Unless any Americans living in very expensive areas know better?
"It says in the Bible that a loaf of bread will cost 20.00 in the last days"
I can get from Asda a medium sliced brown loaf for 50p. And before they close, they reduce their near sell-by bread (of various kinds) down to something like 5p.
It's great living in the secular UK. Sucks to be you American fundies.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
