Oh Reagan will get a proper biography....someday. And it will be by people who get it. People that realize that Reagan is an icon to be cherished. But the dems need to crush the competition. The libs are stuck in a world where you one up your enemy not by being better than him, but by destroying him.

Except for that whole bit where he and Olliver North broke countless international and US laws in order further twisted US policy, and committed High Treason by defying a Supreme Court ruling.
In case you don't remember, when someone is caught committing high treason, they are executed. The Rosenburgs anyone?
NO U!
(I've always wanted to do that.)
Seriously, how can conversatives claim that liberals are the ones who want to destroy their enemies rather than be better than them? That's one fucking shiny mirror right there. Of course, it's so much easier just to destroy than it is to actually MAKE AN EFFORT and IMPROVE yourself, isn't it?
I remember Reagan, I'm a child of the 80s. I remember him as a senile old joke. Howdy Doody Senior. But the deification proceeds apace, with no attention paid to those of us with sense. Thank Goddess I'm Canadian.

Perhaps when the damage from the Savings and Loan scandal (which Reagan made possible) is finally paid off. Considering the fact that the final tally for that disaster amounted to billions, I wouldn't start writing just yet.

And it'll be entitled "Duhhhh... I wet myself, Nancy!". Only slightly more intelligent was "The Wit & Wisdom of Gerald Ford". But I hear that "The Collected Bushisms - Complete & Unabridged" takes up several shelves.

And yet, Barack Obama himself wrote two bestsellers. Mainly by them being intelligent works of factual literature, not the arse-licking pop-up books written by Repubican toadies, and bought by the few neocons that can read.
@Agahnim, amen to that. I read about Republicans like T.R and Eisenhower, and I marvel that the GOP has fallen so far. As I've mentioned before, my grandparents were rock-ribbed Republicans, and they would be in tears to see their party today.
As for Reagan, bad as he was, the GOP has gotten much worse. I doubt if he could get elected by today's Republicans.
Confused?
