Some people do not claim to be any more then the animals and like the animals they too will be destoryed.

Except that we do. We may be animals, but we are sentient, sapient, conscious, rational, AUTONOMOUS animals. That does make us more than "mere" animals.
Let's not forget that if God wanted to "destory" the animals, he would've done so with Noah's Flood (assuming that's not an Urban Legend), but God chose to have one of each kind saved on the ark, so that should be evidence that God loves animals and won't destory them.http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/mammals/ is a kid's site, but it's a start for the fundies.
