2- This mere artificial satellite - which just sent out a basic radio signal - represented to the US the potential militarisation of space itself, giving rise to the Space Race (NASA's Mercury/Gemini/Apollo missions) and the height of the Red Scare.
3- The fruits of aforementioned Atheist science born of the USSR completely annihilated the previously undisputed model of the universe as claimed by the Bible; the 'Firmament' (resting on 'pillars' supporting a flat 'Earth' with four corners): a solid 'dome'** with lights in it.
Never mind the Hubble Space Telescope, or the likes of the rovers Sojourner, Spirit & Opportunity on Mars, you lot must've had collective metaphorical arms like Atlas's with all that lifting not only those goalposts, but the entire sports fields, trying to come up with apologetics - excuses - to justify your doctrines & 'beliefs' as gradually more and more gaps in human thinking were filled by the deep-space probes Mariner & Voyager, which enlightened us to what's beyond that 'dome' as described in that so-called 'Word of God' (which conveniently didn't describe - in exact detail - what science is easily able to do so now) of yours.
ANSWER: We Atheists have the evidence We win.

And as per the above Biblical model of the entire universe, if that's all there is, where did those meteors come from...? In the mere act of pointing out impact craters - even 'some'; and that's before those here on Earth are pointed out to him - hasn't Pooey here just destroyed his own argument?
He'd better not meet messrs Armstrong & Aldrin then; and not just because of what happened when a certain journalist disputed the achievements of the latter, neither. Because their LEM 'Eagle' just happened to land in the 'Sea of Tranquility' - basically a fucking huge impact crater.
