Homosexuality and homosexual sin is what it is no matter the gender of its' participants. (ie. lesbian sex is not really a different offence than sex between two men. They are parallel.) You could start toying with the idea of homosexual sin tonight if you accidentally even happen to peruse some sort of gay internet pornography. Toy with it long enough, let the idea go from mere curiosity to a habit and then to an obsession, and you can fall hook line and sinker for the carrot that was sparked by something quite small.

Which is more effective at creating homosexuals, Will and Grace, that Robin Williams movie, or Queer eye for the Straght Guy?
JohnRaptor, Romans 1:26 speaks only of lesbian sex, not lesbianism, which is a sexual orientation and not a sexual act. That distinction was the whole point of my discussion with Nan. The biblical authors didn't have a concept of homosexuality. They just considered same-sex sex to be wrong. Nan wasn't able to understand the distinction between sexual orientation and sexual acts. This particular quote was based on her denial of any causes of homosexual desire besides choice to lust eventually turning into an obsession.
For the record, I think it's incredibly misleading to put her name next to the name of my blog without making it clear that she is a commenter on a post that she disagrees with. If it's possible to correct that misattribution, please do so.
I'm confused, if a man is looking at lesbian porn is that going to make him gay? Because, if that's the case, I better start worrying about my husband.

Why do I suspect Nan is speaking from experience here?
Oh, and a pet hate of mine, 'peruse' doesn't mean what Nan thinks it does:
peruse Pronunciation (p-rz)
tr.v. perused, perusing, peruses
To read or examine, typically with great care.
Oh, wait a minute, perhaps Nan knows only too well what it means....
And if I go to one of those sites, I´m a woman and I´m doing a, say, sociological research?, or I am getting ideas to a new commercial, or I just mistype a web address?
Baaahahaha, "Mixed Metaphor" award! Seriously, this does deserve an award. This is the most amazing mixed metaphor I can remember, and the best part is that it's quite possibly unintentional, as per Poe's Law!
Marnanel & Jeremy Pierce - Romans 1:26 speaks of women being given up to "vile passions" and changing "the natural function into that which is against nature." This could mean almost anything. If the authors intended it to mean that women were sleeping with each other, why not say so? After all, in the very next verse it refers quite specifically to men "leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men". Now, one might say that because these descriptions are right next to each other that they describe the same thing, but that is a matter of interpretation, and some christians groups, as we've seen on this very website, find nothing at all wrong with lesbian sex and nothing in the bible to condemn it.
Nan's actually happily married, and if all you can think of is to suggest some of the cruel things I've seen in this thread then I can't see how you have much moral high ground to be condemning her as a fundamentalist. I can't believe some of the immature things I'm seeing here from those who consider themselves enlightened.
Excuse me, but this is a great classic. Look at that last phrase. I am still in open-mouthed awe at the carrot used as bait (i.e., with a hook and line) that is also sparking. Does it spark underwater? Does it catch homosexual fish? I could write a book about that one phrase. Thank you, thank you, Nan.
Confused?
