Matthew 16:18, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

This single verse PROVES the Catholic church is NOT of Jesus! Historic fact is, the gates of hell have prevailed against this church from the beginning and will do so all the way until it's SOON demise! If this church they claim was built upon the faith of Peter is Roman Catholicism, then they also proclaim Jesus Christ a liar. For even the Pope himself admitted in his mea culpa on March 12, 2000 that the gates of hell DID PREVAIL against his church. So much so that over 500 million Christians
were burned at the stake, drawn and quartered, buried alive, boiled in oil, skinned alive and had numerous other horrendous acts of evil done against them. Is this what Jesus would have Christians do to those that don't embrace His Word? Even a babe in Christ can easily proclaim, no! Jesus would never do as Rome does!
