Man is not the descendant of monkey is a true statement
Translation: if we keep repeating this often enough and loud enough it magically becomes a fact.
that liberal academia refuses to adhere to.
Ummm, you ARE aware that even conservatives can support ToE, for example the Pope. Granted, the people that do accept it are not ultra-extreme Fundigelical Republitards.
They falsely prefer to interpret man through an evolution stage, beast to man.
"Beast" is not a scientific classification, however, we ARE homonids, apes, placentals, mammals, vertibrates, and yes, animals. And even Carl Linnaeus (a creationist) grouped us as such.
In addition, they wrongly assert biology as proof of 'Mankind from beast' nonsense.
The field of biology is not proof of anything other than the existence of biologists. What we use is evidence from that field such as ERV insertion points, ring species, human chromosome 2, and observed instances of speciation.
They cling to the dishonest notions developed by Charles Darwin.
First off, evidence of Darwin's dishonesty please. He may have been wrong on some things (things which were later corrected by other scientists), but that hardly qualifies as dishonesty. And the irony here is that it's YOU guys that cling to Darwin, everyone else has moved on beyond him and we rarely ever cite him in any debates preferring instead to focus on individuals such as Ken Miller which have had recent contributions to the field.
The Bible has great insight into who Man really is.
I actually agree there. It gives insight into just how superstitious our species is, how afraid of the unknown people tend to be (to the point of preferring to make shit up rather than admit to not knowing), and how easy it is to justify brutality. What it doesn't give any insight into is our origin and the workings of the universe.
