Adolf Hitler was one of the greatest men who ever lived. He was unselfish, deeply altruistic, non-materialistic, and caring.

A brilliant man, insightful, a scholar of history and politics, social theory and culture... Adolf Hitler was epic.

He was an environmentalist, vegetarian, and animal rights advocate. He idolized children and strong families. He liberated women from the depravity of the Weimar years: restored their dignity, restored their importance, and promoted their rightful heroic role in society.

He was a pioneer in worker rights: safety on the job, hours worked per day, banning child labor, wage standards, etc.

Hitler relentlessly sought peace with France and Britain but each of his numerous peace offerings was rejected by the French and British. War was foisted upon him. His true enemy was Jewish Bolshevik Communism which he correctly saw as the number one threat facing the Western World and all of global humanity; it had to be stopped at all costs.

Hitler was a failed artist who blamed jews collectively for his own inability to create anything better that cheap postcards for tourists.
I've seen his work... It is vapid and devoid of feeling.

Hitler wanted to be an intelectual, and part of fashionable society... but he was an inarticulate boor with the mind of a peasant priest. A moralizing prude who never smiled, and who despised jazz music. He blamed gypseys for his inability to become witty and charming.

Hitler imagined himself a great archetect, and he designed citys on a vast and inhuman scale, but he never thought about the people who would live in those citys. There were no residential areas, no sewers, no shops and stores. Just vast office complexes, and huge monuments.

He blamed communism for the shortcomings of capitalism.
He blamed homosexuals for his inability to attract women.
He blamed everyone around him for everything, and never once asked if maybe he himself might need to change.

And that was BEFORE he became powerfull.

As for "strong families", many a person was sent in a Nazi camp because he was denounced to the Gestapo by a son/daughter brainwashed by Hitlerjugend or Bund Deutsche Madel, and many women were left widows by his wars or his repressions.

Forced laborers (S.T.O., Ostarbeiter, Concentration camp inmates, etc.) will have to disagree- at last those who managed to survive to their ordeal.

Whish is why he rearmed, invaded Poland and, then, during Barbarossa, send S.S. to execute all "Jewish commissars"-i.e. unarmed civilians who happened to be of Jewish faith.

[Edit]: and "Jewish Bolshevik Communism" is an pleonasm as for "gilded gold" or "watery water".

An indifferent artist and, as his Table Talk shows, a crashing bore. He was, however, a good self-promoter, which is why douchebags like JamesMiller can't see what's wrong with him nearly 70 years after he killed himself.

In 1925, despite conditions of hardship, Berlin and Vienna were two of the world's most productive centers of social theory and culture. By 1945 they had been turned into a social and cultural desert. If there is one man responsible for the destruction of German culture, it is Adolf Hitler.

In the sense that it took dozens of millions of freedom-loving people threatened with death to rid the world of him, you have a point.

Just a shame that Germany already had some of the most advanced labor legislation in Europe when he came to power and Hitler dealt with this question by arresting the labor union leaders who might have had opinions on these matters and putting them in labor camps.

Go and listen to Hitler's own Reichstag speech of 1 September 1939 and tell me that Hitler was interested in peace with France and Britain.

War was foisted upon him

There is something in this - had he not started war in the autumn of 1939, delays would have meant that the Nazi economy, built on a mixture of junk bonds and blackmail, would have started to unravel, while the Western Allies would have been much better armed to meet the German threat.

His true enemy was Jewish Bolshevik Communism which he correctly saw as the number one threat facing the Western World and all of global humanity; it had to be stopped at all costs.

A goal for which he slaughtered millions upon millions and which his followers, as late as April 1945, were predicting would swallow the world in slavery and destitution. In February 2013, things don't look that bad for the free world. Hitler didn't crush the Jews and things haven't worked out so well for the Communists, either.
