The more he says, the more convinced I am that JohnR7 is either the most fearsomely dedicated troll I've ever known or utterly mad as a hatter. Of course, these options are not mutually exclusive, either.
Science, indeed, is responsible for the technology behind weapons. For the most part, though, the will to use them has been confined to religious people.
Feel free to go start a society that lives without science or its benefits, John. I'll support your decision. And when we've created an earthly paradise, and you're ekeing out an existing from a mud hole, I... well, I don't know what I'll be doing, but it won't involve you. And we'll both be happier that way.
