wow your kind of being a little bitch about this whole thing
you dont even know if the earth IS the center of the universe. we dont know if the sun is center of the universe, there is so much we dont know but we take peoples word for it who have an I.Q. of 150. just wow, only god can be trusted

Funny, I don't trust God at all. He's a bastard. Just ask Jesus.
I don't think the universe has a centre. It's just everywhere. And our sun is a very small one.
This loser has very bad English skills.
fergus
The universe is infinite, and therefore has no center.
Even if you take as the edge of the universe the background microwave radiation, the solar system would still not be at the center of the universe.
Conclusion: a failure is you.
Except that God is the creation of people and sustained by many people with IQs substancially less than 150.
P.S. There is no center of the universe, or, everywhere is the center of the universe, either way, there is no one center of the universe.
Yes, we know where the center of the universe is! It's in a crystal of feldspar in a small rock in my driveway. It is coordinate (0,0,0) and the laws describing how the rest of the universe moves around it are complex, to say the least.
The universe can be modelled with any center we choose.
However, one explanation gives stellar bodies smooth, elliptic orbits that are consistent with gravity.
Others give them bizarre orbits, unbelievable velocities when they are far from Earth and no conceivable explanation to this behaviour.
But if the Bible says so...
I'd trust someone with an IQ of 150 over a book written by primitive savages over 2000 years ago.
Based on every single fact ever observed, collected and/or measure regarding our universe, the answer appears to be that there IS no absolute centre, at least in our three dimensional existence, thus making everything and nothing the centre of the universe. Theory of relativity, biznatch.
If earth was the absolute centre of all of reality, we'd live in a fundamentally different reality, to say the least. Earth would either have to be the largest object in existence, which it obviously isn't, or earth-sized objects would somehow generate the most gravity for whatever crazy reason, thus rendering Venus almost equal in prestige to our little rock.
I don't have an IQ of 150 (or, at least, I strongly doubt my IQ is anywhere near that high; I've never taken a standardized IQ test, nor do I really care what my IQ is), and I'm quite capable of understanding theoretical physics and drawing conclusions on my own, thank-you-very-much.
"you dont even know if the earth IS the center of the universe. we dont know if the sun is center of the universe,"
There is no "center" of the universe you moron. Wherever you happen to be will appear to be the "center".
Well we know the earth isn't the center of the solar system, which is at the ass-end of the galaxy, which itself is...oh forget it, you think 150 IQ is dumb.
Nobody said that the sun is the center of the universe, atleast not scientists, atheists, and especially no astronomers. We know that the planets revolve around the sun within OUR solar system.
This reminds me of the episode of Futurama where one of the characters discovers that the Planet Express Ship doesn't travel through space, it remains stationary and moves the universe around it.
Oh, and OMG! LOLROTF! WHAT A LITTLE BITCH U R WOW JUST WOW!!!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
