"One of the things I’m gonna do, and this is only gonna make it tougher for me, and I’ve never said this before, but one of the things I’m gonna do if I win
is I’m gonna"
...be completely malleable; without any fixed opinion that you would fight for.
Which is what former US president Jimmy Carter said about Donald Fart in Parliament yesterday.
(from Daily Mirror link):
Former US President Jimmy Carter tonight told the UK Parliament he wants Donald Trump to land the Republican nomination ahead of frontrunner Ted Cruz .
'Speaking on a visit to Britain, the 91-year-old Democrat warned Mr Cruz is committed to “Far Right-wing politics” which he would pursue “aggressively” if he makes it to the White House.
By contrast, Carter said, outspoken billionaire Mr Trump has no fixed views at all.'
How about that, o FSTDT Doesn't Lie/Aunty FSTDT/FSTDT Doesn't Suck/Crushed Nuts/Nameless Coward: your precious boyfriend being supported by a left-winger? But then, you shouldn't be so surprised. After all, despite what's on his head being so solid, what's just about an inch under that is so malleable...:

...he thinks this man is a supporter of his. And Jeremy Corbyn - leader of the Labour Party - is a left-winger too.
Consider this, o Nameless Coward: even if your boyfriend gets to the White House, what's to stop the Repubicans from having nominated Tom Cruz Control beforehand? Wiggy will have had to run as an independent. He'll have denied the GOP their man in the top job. Why should the Repubicans in the Senate/HoR support President Fart? And the Democrats would say 'Want our support? Bark like a bitch, Wiggy!'
From day one, President Fart would be a lame duck.
But if he's nominated by the Repubicans, then Wiggy would have to do as they order him to.
Now you know why Jimmy Carter said that he's malleable. If anything, the Washington mandarins would have more control over Wiggy. He - and you lot - would do well to watch the BBC political comedy series "Yes Minister"/"Yes Prime Minister"
Donald Fart said in the above quote "if I win". I don't know who should realise the Spartan Laconic Wit inherent in that emphasised word: You or him.
Not exactly displaying much faith in his own political abilities if he says that. But then...:

...perhaps he knows something you don't.
Hillary Clinton did well on Super Tuesday, did she not...?
As Farty-boy said: 'If.'
And as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond & James May - in an edition of BBC's "Top Gear", whilst driving through Squealikeapiggysville, Bumfuck, Alabama; in early 2007, whilst Dumbya was still in power, and Obama hadn't even considered running for office, never mind being nominated - joked...:
