[Responding to allegations that God acts immorally in the Bible]
God cannot sin. What is sin for us is OK for God. God can do whatever He wants, He's GOD!

Then may he rape your mouth and ass with a rusty pipe and then decapitate your family.
Hey, he's GOD! He can do what he wants!
LOL, God sounds like Cartman on that episode of South Park where he says, I don't care, I do what I wan' .
"God can do whatever He wants, He's GOD!"
Just one word can utterly destroy your argument:
Why?
I could choose to do the same things God did in the Old Testament. But I, as an Atheist, choose not to.
And that's the difference.
Your call, Sky.
So, killing every single living thing on the face of the earth is no sin, but loving a person of the wrong gender is a huge sin?
I think I'll stick with the "God acts immoral in the Bible" group.
I would never listen to anyone who didn't practice what he or she preached.
If the rule is Thou shalt not kill , then the rule maker can't say "it's OK to kill those people" or "it's OK to bash the brains of little kids against rocks" or "it's OK to have bears maul kids that are less than polite".
If you shouldn't kill, then you shouldn't kill ANYONE, OK? End of story.
So, to me, morality is ‘doing the right thing for the right reasons.’
I do not cheat on my wife because i made a commitment. That’s moral.
I know a guy who does not cheat on his wife because he’s socially inept. He tries DESPERATELY, but always ends up going home to her without cheating. That’s not moral, that’s just a lack of options.
“God can do whatever He wants, He's GOD!”
To me, that’s immoral. He can’t sin because he defines sin?
So, he can do sinful things, but faces no repercussions because he’s all-powerful?
Might makes right? I was cured of that thinking before grade school.
Confused?
