There's no censoring of legitimate criticism of evolution. There's only censorship of "god of the gaps" arguments, unsupported "what-ifs" pulled out of thin air and "arguments from personal incredulity". Unfortunately, that's about the only arguments creationists have.

There's no prohibition on referring to God in public. You just can't use public employees or public property to advertise or promote your religious beliefs.

You forgot the FIRST 7 methods:
1) Teach critical thinking skills.
2) Tell people the bits of the Bible the believers mumble over. You know, like God being the source of evil, but unable to defeat iron chariots, the sky being a solid dome, etc.
3) Show people the silliness of other religions. Then point out that their own says the same.
4) Teach people the methods by which science avoids self-deception, and religion doesn't.
5) Point out all the people lying for Jesus.
6) Point out that prayers are granted with exactly the same probability as random chance forecasts.

Some people here clearly don't understand what "materialism" means to fundies these days.

Accumulation of wealth by savage cut-throat competition? That's not materialism -- that's just achievement. The whole "Prosperity Gospel" schtick is all about this -- wealth is a sign of God's favor.

Trying to use the government to provide for a basic social safety net; universal healthcare; progressive taxation; support for the poor, unemployed and/or disabled? That's materialism, because any attempt to make the fat-cats pay their share is "envy", and because it's trying to use "worldly" means to deal with "material" concerns (you know, like survival and human suffering) instead of just praying and using "Christian charity" to force conversions by withholding aid.

BZZZZT, wrong. I was raised in a Christian family that attended church every Sunday. I used to pray with my mom before bed each night, and I was taught that Jesus was my savior and that God created the world as a child. Oh, and the whole "school prayer" thing is barely even an issue where I live. AND I spent some time in Catholic school as a child.

BZZZZZZZZT. My brother and I barely learned anything about evolution in school (they did a piss-poor job of covering it in science class), we both had to educate ourselves about it on our own. I learned most of what I know about evolution after I became an atheist. Growing up, both of my parents denied evolution. It was my brother and I teaching them about it that swayed them over to the logical side.

1.) So if you aren't praying at every possible opportunity, loudly, so everyone can hear that you are praying like a good, devout Christian, you're gonna turn into an atheist? Is your faith really that weak?

1. I seem to remember Jesus saying something about praying in private, as only charlatans pray in public.
2. Logically, God does not exist. Human rights do not protect you from being offended. That goes for any deity as well.

As long as people have the basic necessities of life; somewhere to live, food on the table, access to free/reasonably priced health care, education, child care, social services, etc, there is little incentive to become addicts. If you deprive people of the basic necessities of life they become desperate and the risk of people drowning their sorrows in addictions is much greater.
