"A friend of ours discovered at 3 months pregnant that her child had only 2 champers in her heart. Therefore an abortion happened. What does this mean to GOD and our friends?
The baby would of never survived if the pregnancy went on."
Only God knows for sure if the baby would have lived or died, God could have healed the child in it's mothers womb if it was his will. It's not up to man to decide if an unborn baby lives or dies, it's up to God to decide.
Your friends can be forgiven for killing their unborn child if they accept Christ as their Lord and savior. Pray that they do.

And God decided that the baby should die by subtly influencing the parent to have an abortion.
It shouldn't be possible to subvert God's will. If God decides when someone will die, then he or she will die. If medication causes that person to live, then God didn't want that person to die right then.
What an awful choice for that mother. I'm pretty sure that woman, if she has two brain cells to rub together, does not actually think that creep who initially posted is her "friend."
Edit for clockworkgirl21: You're right. "The parents," I should have said.
What an awful choice for that mother
Why is it always just the mother? I'm sure the father felt just as bad, knowing he didn't have a choice at all when it came to the deformed baby.
While my medical education is limited to a minor and I did interview with a company that does heart chamber repairs last year... I'd be willing to place a good bet the "baby" in question would have been naturally aborted, a miscarriage, or still born at best. A two chamber heart is a serious abnormally that cannot be fixed with medicine. (Or prayer.)
"Only God knows for sure if the baby would have lived or died,"
Or a biologist. Or a physiologist. Or a physician. Or anyone with any common sense who knows mammals need a four chambered heart to survive .
"God could have healed the child in it's mothers womb if it was his will."
Yeah? What took him so fucking long? If the pregnancy was far enough along that mere mortals could determine the defect how come your lazy ass god didn't know about it?
"It's not up to man to decide if an unborn baby lives or dies, it's up to God to decide."
Bullshit. Know what a Harlequin Baby is? Tell me they should be born and go through that.

Fuck you.
"Only God knows for sure if the baby would have lived or died"
Hahahahaha...no. God's medical opinion is rather hard to obtain, anyway.
"God could have healed the child in it's mothers womb if it was his will."
And we all know that he's done that before. Spontaneously forming chambers of the heart after they should already have been developed is like a hobby for him.
"it's up to God to decide."
Is that why there are so many miscarriages?
You know...you would think that human actions would be part of the decision making process for an omnipotent and omniscient deity...

And if they don't, stone them to death
And I wonder, if God wants to heal the baby anyway, why does he have to create doctors that explain that it's impossible to the baby to survive?, why 100% of those pregnancies end in miscarriage anyway?
This sounds like someone mouthing a quote, who has never had to think about the issue.
If we take his thinking further along logically, with everything being in the hands of God, that means we should never want or even need to go to the doctor, since everything is already in His hands?
My parents should have just "left me to God" when I was born with severe liver problems? I should have just "toughed it out" and certainly died? And possibly my mother as well, after having a forced Ceasarian procedure by the circumstances out of her control?
What a compassionate, loving God that is that Christians always talk about. Mr. Brown sounds like a complete Tool of the Church. May his family never need medical care.
ETA: Thank you for your knowledge, Horsefathers . I was only an English major in college, (so with science not being even a minor speciality of mine) I did not know that apparently, all mammals require a four-chambered heart to live.
Edited to Add Again:
And, I suppose I should thank you as well for the knowledge that people can be born with deformities even more ghastly-looking than my congential defect...when I googled it, I was really hoping the pictures wouldn't come up automatically as well...
Or, y'know, he could have just not made the fetus that way in the first place. If he really existed, it wouldn't be possible to abort or save anyone's life through medicine, since "god" would intervene. Why do they never think of the obvious?
So they should have let the baby be born, suffer, and die? Sometimes an abortion is a mercy, not a cruelty. If a baby is born that will only die, it just makes everyone suffer, including the baby.
Do you also think that a horse that breaks its leg should be made to live out its days in agony, Ronny? Is it up to God to decide when the horse should die?
Having only two heart chambers sounds like it would be painful and deprive you of oxygen, even before you're born.
Why don't you make that God of yours heal an amputee, Ronny, in front of cameras and with monitoring equipment checking the process? Then we might take your word for it that God can heal a fetus in the womb.
(The first two lines are a separate person's comment, isn't it, and the last three lines lines are Ron Brown's comments? That's how I interpret it...)
Confused?
