For the gullible ones out there that still haven't figured it out yet...evolution theory is a great way to finally make government the ultimate power on earth. With God no longer in the picture, Government becomes the highest authority. If you understood Prophecy the end times speaks of nations of power, evolution is by far the largest tool which is slowly but surely pushing the population away from God and closer to the New World Order.

No, I am my ultimate authority. While the government has certain powers and can make my life miserable if they wish, I am my final authority. God is imaginary, therefore, God has no authority at all.
Hmmm...and here I was under the mistaken impression that man, not government, was the highest authority. After all, man created government, not the other way around.
But if that causes a world in which I don't have to have religion shoved down my throat, more power to it!
Well, he mentions 'evolution', and his post is certainly a fairytale, so I can see why it got posted on that board...
If you want to see people worshipping government power, you need look no further than the nearest conservative Christian church. Those are the people who have referred to Bush II as being "God in the White House," and they are also the ones who fight tooth and claw against evolutionary theory while disseminating nonsense about a literal Genesis creation (or its anemic cousin, ID). Both the religious veneration of government and the fight against science are fundie positions, and both are both stupefyingly inane and misguided.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure how I'd react to having a governor who goes by the name "Kinky," no matter what his politics are! That would give Jay Leno material for weeks right there.

for future reference, Christobel, you should avoid using the word "gullible" in any context at all, and you should certainly think twice about the phrase "by far the largest tool".
Christopher John believes in the baseless fairy tale accounts of Creation in the Bible and yet he has the audacity to brand gullible people who take evolution (and it's overwhelming amount of evidence) as fact.
As to the matter of pushing God out of government, I couldn't agree more! The sooner the better. As far as I'm concerned, the most Christian US administration in decades is also the most destructive and disastrous.

Do you always make a habit of talking to yourself?
<<< evolution theory is a great way to finally make government the ultimate power on earth. >>>
Evolution is scientific, not political. And government can never be the ultimate power - its power derives from the people.

Evolution does not require the nonexistence of God. You fail.
Dear Chris,
Just one little question I would like to ask: if there is a God and that same being is omnipotent and omniscient, how does our acceptance of evolution have any impact what so ever on this entity?
Confused?
