Democracy does suck. Whoever thought the bone headed riff-raff could make any reasonable decisions must have been insane. Especially so if the commoners are so easily swayed by rhetoric and lies.
But the other forms of government we did have involved giving a single inbred idiot all the power, or giving a psychopath real estate to conduct his mass killing spree. In comparison, I guess giving the thick headed rabble power isn't so bad since the "elite" is almost always one of the above.
