Atheists have problems: How can someone be so ignorant towards God? I disagree with the lesbian Jew, but at least they acknowledge God. Well, the jews ride bikes instead of drive everywhere, so maybe the Jews are not so bad.
I believe it was best said in the TV series ¨The Stand¨ by Stephen King:
Nick Andros: I dont believe in God.
Mother Abigail: That dont matter! He believes in you!

Christians have problems: How can someone be so ignorant towards the FSM?

"Atheists have problems: How can someone be so ignorant towards God?"
When you realise how ignorant you are towards reality, atheists problems will seem small.
That dont matter! He believes in you!
If you think bumper sticker material is going to convert people, you're an idiot. What's the difference between saying "God/Zeus/Allah/Vishnu/Mithra/Odin believes in you?"
It's statements like this which make me sorry I ever practiced Christianity.
So, according to you, we're ignorant yet, your best effort to inform us is to quote a fictional TV series? If we're ignorant then you have only yourself and other Christians to blame. You're privy to some special knowledge and you either can't or don't want to share it. How can anyone be expected to have this knowledge if you keep it to yourself?
Sure, Atheists have problems; we have to earn enough money to buy food and pay the rent, and as we don't think some god is going to destroy the world soon, we feel the need to keep it viable for human habitation for longer than just our short lives.
How do you know we are ignorant "towards" your deity? A lot of us atheists became atheists as we learn what you might call "too much" about religions.
All Jews ride bikes and none of them drive? How do you know that and what does that have to do with anything?
Oh good, as he believes in us, we don't have to believe in him, right?

Fundies have problems: Delusions that something that doesn't exist does.
All he has to do is to appear before me in physical form, to prove me wrong. Now .
Isn't thinking otherwise the ultimate in ignorance?
...oh, and one last argument - certainly analogy - annihilating point: Stephen King is a rationalist . Only an ignorant fundie would think otherwise, certainly rely on a fictional character's 'words' to base their entire argument upon.
What in the fuck does Jews riding bikes have to do with anything? Did the Jews turn into an all female lesbian biker gang without my knowing? I don't have a real problem with that, mind you, but how the hell did that happen?
So people who apply the philosophy of Occam's Razor to their religious (lack of) beliefs are objectively wrong to you?
There's no such thing as objectively right/wrong when it comes to religion or philosophy until it starts contradicting what we have observed in the world.
I feel sorry for you. There are a lot of friends you're missing out on.
So gob is a character in a gigantic pulp novel? Personally, I find it easier to believe in Cujo or Christine.
Oh and I don't believe in Mother Abigail either.
Not to slam Stephen King, as it was character dialouge anyway, but that was old when he used it. You'd think a Christian would know that.
But then again, the fundies seem to believe in everything to some degree (recent study found) so book of Stephen King 30;6?

TV is where you get your theological arguments from?
Well, the jews ride bikes instead of drive everywhere, so maybe the Jews are not so bad.
Wat?
Are you referring to... not driving cars on the Sabbath? Otherwise I have no idea what this non sequitur is about.
I've read a fair number of Stephen King's works and...
Well let's just say that the most overtly religious people in his books tend to make you wonder who the real monsters are even when the story happens to involve actual monsters.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
