It's interesting how they always confuse a theory with a hypothesis. They complain that evolution is just a theory - as if it is just a guess. Really the closest thing in science to a guess is a hypothesis. Even then, it is still based on something rather than pulled out of the air. Hypotheses are then tested, verified, and may come to be theories is found to be true based on observation and testing.
It's not called the 'Hypothesis of Evolution' it is the 'Theory of Evolution'.

Actually laws are usually mathematical trends, like Moore's Law, whereas theories are usually proven. If they're disproven, then we usually forget about them and move onto something else.

There is no evidence whatsoever that the events in the Bible happened the way it says they did. It's even contradictory in many places. For example, Jesus was born before 4 BC and in 6 or 7 AD. (Herod died 4 BC and the big census was taken in 6 and 7 AD.) Another example, God created man first and then animals and woman last AND animals first and then man and woman together.

In science, "law", "hypothesis" and "scientific theory" are three distinct things and they are not "grades", they don't turn from one to the other.
The Bible is a human-selected compilation of human compilations of human tradition. So like science, it is of human origin. But you cannot expect ancient humans to know about the natural world, it's absurd to reject reality and science in favor of a modern twisted interpretation of what an ancient author claimed, taken out of context.
Faith is a rather universal human concept. Many people can reconcile knowledge and faith without promoting obscurantism.
But obscurantism and alienation is the tool of narcissist leaders to mislead and exploit. In this case, it seems to be part of the radicalization into political extremism and terrorism recruitment. It even targets the youth and gaming forums. That's not mainstream moderate legitimate Christianity, it's something else. It's also how ISIL works.
